                FAIR GAME

Sinamahan siya ni Bertrand at Maxwell sa grand staircase. The noble walk socializing, eating appetizers and admiring painting.

"Ohh. Looks like they broke out drinks early for this event." Ani Maxwell.
" Focus Maxwell, we don't have time for party antics." Saad ni Bertrand kay Maxwell.
" But i have so many tricks." Ani Maxwell.
" What's the point of the party unless you have prince Liam securely beside you?" Aniya sa mga ito.

" Precisely. I'm glad at Least one of you is able to stay focused in objective." Ani Bertrand.

Maxwell lead me into the boutique.

" Im sure we can find something appropriately rustic here." Ani Maxwell. Kumuha ito ng dress para sa kanya at ipinasukat.
" That's perfect. Even Bertrand would approved." Aniya.
        " We'll, try it on." Ani sa kanya. Kinuha niya ang dress at pumasok sa fitting room para isukat ang gown na napili ni Maxwell para sa kanya.

" Your beautiful as usual." Puri ni Maxwell sa kanya ng makita siyang suot ang gown na napili nito.

" Salamat.
Naglakad sila ni Maxwell sa Manor's hallway. Nakita niya si Hana sa may bintana na may kausap sa cellphone.

" Yes, i know... No, you've made yourself perfectly clear. I've try that..my etiquette has been fine . .uh .huh there's still time. If I'm being honest no, no.... The prince isn't likely to choose me." Ani Hana sa kabilang linya.

" Maxwell, I'll catch you outside." Sabi niya rito.
" No worries. I'll see you down there." Ani Maxwell.
Maxwell continue down the hallway. Nilapitan niya si Hana at tinapik ito sa balikat.

" Ohh! Hello, Samantha. I'm just on the phone talking with my mother." Ani Hana sa kanya.

No, Mom. I'm not ignoring you. Samantha just walk over to me.. " Yes.. the one from New York." Saad nito sa kabilang linya.
" Your mom knows about me? Tanong niya dito.

" My parents follow Cordonian news." Sagot nito sa kanya.

"Hmm? Yes Mom, I've tried gaining Court's favor. I've become friends with Liam. Right I'm not here to befriend with him." Anito sa kabilang linya.

"Hana . . . You've been amazing. Nobody here has even half the talent you do." Aniya kay Hana. Tinakpan nito ang cellphone para hindi marinig ng ina nito ang pinag usapan nila.
" That doesn't mean anything to my parents unless I'm producing results." Ani Hana at muking kinausap ang ina.

" Yes mom. I know you love me and wants what's the best for me.." Ani Hana sa ina nito.
" Then.. they should listen to you. If they love you, they need listen to you." Sabi niya kay Hana.

" Tell them. How you really feel.
Hana contemplatively looks at her phone.

" Mother, there's more to my life than fulfilling your wishes. I've done everything to you've ever told me to do, and its made me miserable. Kung gusto niyo po talaga akong maging masaya. Then you have to let me figure out. What that means for me.
Hana hangs up.

" Hana you stood up to them! Im so proud of you." Masayang saad niya rito.
" Im so proud of me too! That felt amazing! I can't believe i stood up them. ....oh my goodness. I cant believe i said those things to my mother! She's going to be so furious! "Masayang sabi nito sa kanya na may halong lungkot ang mga nito.

" You know what.. she'll come around. Just give her time. You're not being unreasonable.
" You right. I'll give here some time. Kahit pa ipagtabuyan niya ako. It's my life." Ani Hana.
