Dear Diary, “Get up you worthless piece of garbage!” Was the lovely wake-up call I arose to. Anthony is completely out of control, not like Lauren’s any better. It has been four months since Dad died. Well not my real Dad, my adoptive one. He is the only reason I’m writing this silly thing. Dad always had to be prepared so even at the age of 37 he already had a will. The only way I get my inheritance is if I write down ‘how I feel’. His words not mine. Honestly it feels like just yesterday he had come down to the orphanage and picked me out. I was banking on being in the system until I was 18 and got kicked out. Dad took me home and introduced me to Lauren. She had disgust written so clearly on her face I don’t get how he didn’t see it. Lauren pretended to be nice to me when he was around. Ever since Dad died in the collision she has ignored me completely; well almost completely. I wish I could say the same about Anthony, Lauren’s new husband. Yah, way to show some love and compassion for your departed husband, she was married not even a month after Dad died. Anthony made it his personal duty to make my life a living Hades. I went from being ignored to being a slave. Anthony is always yelling at me or cussing me out. He hasn’t hit me though…yet.

I miss you Dad, I wish I was with you when you got hit. Then I wouldn’t have to endure this horrid life anymore.
