7/1/08 Dear Diary,
The new kid’s name is Mattias, we get along swimmingly. He is my only friend, everyone tried to get him to leave me but he ignored them. It is nice to meet someone who doesn’t care. Mattias doesn’t say anything about my sleeves but I think he knows. Yesterday my sleeve slid up and I noticed him staring at my wrist. I quickly pulled down my sleeve and put arm under the table. Thankfully Mattias didn’t say anything. I really don’t feel like explaining to anyone. I feel like they wouldn’t understand. I love you Dad.

7/4/08 Dear Diary,
OMG! Mattias asked me out today! I can’t believe someone asked me out. I still don’t get why someone as hot as him would want to date someone as ugly as me. I am beginning to believe everything Lauren and Anthony tell me, how I’m ugly, fat, and worthless and how no one will love me.
