Cara's POV

It had been 2 hours since Advanced Math, and since I talked to Calum, and was starting to get bored,with Spanish class, until the sound of a ringing bell relieves me of stress, sigh,
Lunch time.
I walk up to my table, with Nora and Mckenna there, they've been my friends since a year ago, I never really liked them that much at first but they stood up for me, when I was getting bullied real bad by Luke and Michael.
'' Hey Guys, wheres Amerie and Skylar?'' I say with the jello on my tray jiggling as I set it on the table.
'' They went to get their lunch,'' Mckenna says with her mouth full with pizza.
As Amerie starts to walk to our table with Skylar I start eating my sandwich, I never really liked school food, but it was decent, it seemed fine to eat, I'm never really the one to complain alot, I mean My family is hardworking and they seem to be fine, it wouldn't be better if I didn't have anything at all.

While Nora is telling a story about her and Louis going out to the movies and the popcorn guy was late on his break so, they didn't get any popcorn and missed the movie already, well At least that's what I heard. The bell rings in the middle of her talking and I stand up and start walking to put my tray away.
All of us part our different ways,we never had any classes together, I've always had Advanced or a Grade up class, I 've always been ahead. I wonder whats it like to be normal at a normal pace.
I grab my books out of my locker and I see Luke staring above me. Shit .
'' Hey Cara, where ya goin?'' Luke whispers in my ear.
'' To my class, Reading.'' I say, while shaking my foot, it calms me and relieves my stress,but this wasn't stress. It was just plain fear.
'' Oh well I would really love for you to stay...'' He says with a little smirk. I just try to walk away but that doesn't work he just grabs me by the wrist with a strong grip so I won't escape, and I know can't get out of this and Luke knows it too.
'' Where ya goin? Cara? I still wanna talk. '' his evil smile, makes me want to barf out everything I have. I start sweating everywhere, But I can't help it to hope that Calum will come and save me or anyone. Its literally like he read my mind, I see Calum running down the hallway, panting and sweating as hell, I feel like I put through soo much for him to fix for me.
Luke looks at Calum and says
'' Aww Calum you wan'cha girlfriend back?? Well you can have her, she's too much of a smart ass and a bitch to even speak, have fun with this retard.''
Even though Luke can't hear as he walks away laughing with his head back, teasing, Calum mumbles 'dickhead' .
Out of nowhere I start crying, and bawling out of my mouth, Calum reaches out and gives me a strong hug, with his head muffled in my shoulder.
He told me to just go back to class and forget everything that happened, but I can't, every single thing is coming back to me, everything . I start when I was little, I remember My dad pushing me up to the swing, with laughing with joy and sweetness of a 6 year old, those times are gone now, I'm 17 now,the swing is no longer there, neither is the joy and sweetness.
Neither is my dad.
