I walked into the Sheriff's Station with Stiles beside me, both of us carrying take out bags. We pulled two chairs up to the desk that Sheriff Stilinski was working at. Papers overflowed the desk as he tapped a pen against his temple. He looked up and noticed that we had dinner. "I'm starving," He said with a smile as I passed him one of the bags. "Did they forget my curly fries?" He asked as he dug through the paper bag.
"You're not supposed to eat fries, especially the curly ones," Stiles said as he grabbed his burger out of the bag.
"Well, I'm carrying a lethal weapon. If I want the curly fries, I will have the curly fries." Stilinski said as he took a bite of his burger.
"If you think getting rid of contractions in all your sentences makes your argument any more legitimate. You. Are. Wrong," Stiles told his dad when a dispatcher called the phone. He answered the call and through the phone, I could hear them talking about a 187; homicide.

Pulling into the video store parking lot, I could see the paramedics helping two people, and taking a body away on a stretcher. We both got out of the car as Sheriff Stilinski walked over to the two teenagers, Lydia and Jackson. I could hear Jackson yelling at the cops and paramedics, telling him that he should be able to leave, but they weren't letting him.
"I heard ya, but the EMT says you hit your head pretty hard. They just wanna make sure you don't have a concussion." The Sheriff said as he tried to calm a very aggravated Jackson.
"What part of 'I'm fine' are you having a problem grasping? Okay, I want to go home." He said snidely. Sheriff Stilinski tried to tell him that he understood, but Jackson wouldn't have any of it.
"No, you don't understand that, which kind of blows my mind, since it should be a pretty basic concept to grasp for a minimum-wage rent-a-cop like you! Okay, now, I want to go home!" Jackson shot at him, caching Stikinski off guard. I walked over to him and pulled Jackson away from them, hoping to ease the tension, as Stiles did the same with his dad.
"Jackson, just let them check you out because if you have a concussion you won't be able to play in the next game," I told him as I watched him roll his eyes.
"Are you threatening me?" He asked irritably.
"Yes, and I'm threatening to tell Coach about this since I'm also the medical assistance and he would not be impressed to hear that his star player is out for a few weeks," I knew that if I complimented him his ego would overpress his stubbornness. I stood my ground until he finally sighed and walked over to the medics.
I turned away and two dark figures sitting on the roof caught my attention. I stared for a few more seconds until I realized that it was Scott and Derek, and they noticed as well. "Scott, can you hear me?" I whispered under my breath, still maintaining eye contact with him. "If you can, we need to talk," I looked over to an empty parking space behind a large truck. I started walking over, in hopes that he'll follow.
"What's up," I spun around quickly to see Scott and Derek behind me.
"You heard me, cool" I smiled, "Anyways, do you know what happened? They're saying it was a homicide and they're trying to find suspects." I looked between Scott and Derek who shared a look, "It was the Alpha, wasn't it,"
"We're still trying to figure who it is, and we can't sniff him out-" Derek told me.
"Since a wolf's scent and human's scent is different, you can't quite figure out who it is," I said, finishing his sentence. "What?" The boys looked at me dumbfounded, "I have a computer, and access to a library, it's called research," I said, trying to simplify the answer. "And the same thing happened with Scott and Laura..." I confessed.
