Payton was a girl who lived with her mother, she was on her last chance on being sent away. Her mother was strict, in fact, she was the principal at Payton's school... which was massively unlucky considering Payton was trouble. So one more wrong move and she would be sent into care in a whole different state.

But it's crazy when Billie Joe Armstrong. The trouble maker who, in time steals her heart, strolls into town. She's already warned by her mom not to even dare to talk to him. Or that was it. Sent off.

But all Payton's wants to know is: 'Is he trouble like I'm trouble?'

And the answer to that was a big fat obvious yes, but the trouble she was putting herself into by even hanging around with him sometimes was dangerous.

But what is she supposed to do when she realises she's in deep, serious and heart-aching love with Billie Joe. And when it comes to Billies attention to the only thing he really wants is to call her his. They can't have it what they do both want, they can't risk it, but the rules have never stopped them before? But the fear of never seeing her again suddenly turns Billie Joe a stickler to the rule, whereas Payton is willing to risk her whole life for one tiny and maybe pathetic kiss.

She's not allowed to love him, but she does.

He's not aloud to love her, but he does.

She's not allowed to be with him, yet she's willing to risk it all just to know the feeling of being with what she's intertwining with. She loves him more than she's willing to tell him because some times she won't admit it to herself at late hours of the night.

But Billie won't let her, in fear she'll get riped away and go to another state. And the thought that he might never find her again if she does makes his heart hurt in an odd way it never has and keeps him up at night silently drowning in his worries. He's scared to show his love, that every move he makes could fuck it up.

They're on different worlds, worlds apart, worlds against, but one thing they both understand is: I love you, will never be sweeter when it's not a secret, and "I'm fine," sounds the same even when it's not true.

She loves him more than he'll ever know.

And he loves her more than he'll ever show.
