A few time passed, maybe like a week or two. And currently, it was Thursday. Meaning my birthday was on Saturday. The day I would turn eighteen and move out when I finally found a place to move into. I had found myself some stupid job at a shop. I basically just stacked shelf's there. Meaning with my job, and now school I hadn't seen Billie, mike or Tre in a while.
I picked up the last can of beans as I placed it on the shelf. I stepped back to look at the shelf I had finished stacking.
"That's the last of them, Ives." I heard a voice say. I turned myself around to be greeted by my manger, Lilith.
"Does that mean I can leave early?" I asked her. She smiled and nodded.
"I guess it does."
"Sick!" I smiled as I pulled off the uniform jacket. I hated this stupid thing, the material made my arm itch.
"What are you doing for your birthday?" Lilith asked me as we walked down the aisle.
"I don't think I'm doing anything." I shrugged.
"But it's your eighteenth?"
"I think I'm meeting up with a few friends?"
"No party?"
"I guess not..." I said.
After finishing up my conversation I left with my jacket folded in my arms.
"There she is!" A voice called behind me. Before I could turn around I felt two arms wrap around my waist and pick me up as they began to twirl me around. I laughed hysterically begging to be put down as they did so. I turned to see none other than Billie joe. "It's the nearly birthday girl!" He smiled.
"Billie!" I smiled happily to see him, I had missed him.
"You're gonna be eighteen!" Tre shouted as he bounced over to us.
"I know!" I smiled happily.
"We're all still going to drink beers on the field on your birthday right?" Mike asked. I nodded as I smiled.
"It sucks that's the only thing we can do for your birthday." Billie sighed.
"Hey, no it's not," I said.
"You should be having a big party, or be getting to go somewhere really nice and special. But instead, you're gonna he sat on a field drinking beers with us guys." He laughed.
"Dude we aren't that bad," Mike said to him.
"I would rather, sit on a field and drink beers with you three idiots and your girlfriends who really care about me then having a party with a load of people coming only to get drunk, and half of them will only know me as the principal's daughter."
Billie smiled happily. "It's the least we can give you, I know it bites."
"Billie she just said it's fine will you chill out," Tre shouted as he ran behind him and jumped on to his back.
"Tre!" Billie shouted as he stumbled to find his balance before balancing the both of them with Tre eagerly wrapped on billies back.
"Have you got any ideas about moving yet?" Mike asked me. I looked over to him and shrugged.
"I don't know if I'll be able to find a place," I said honestly to him. "I think I might have to stay living with my mom until I can find somewhere I can afford."
"I'm sure you'll find somewhere." He said hopefully.
"Come on let's get in the car," Billie said as he finally got Tre off of him.
