I decided I wasn't going to tell Billie about my moms sudden weekend business trip until after school today, my birthday was tomorrow. And I planned on actually asking him if he wanted to stay over so I wouldn't be by myself when I turned eighteen. No one wants to start their eighteenth off sat on their own.

I still avoided him in school, since any teachers who would see us together could tell my mom. So after school, I went into the parking lot and looked around for his car. He drove himself there and back from school, I believe Mike brought him and Tre in his dads truck which was basically his now.

I walked around the parking lot looking around before getting beeped at.

"What the fuck!" I shouted scared as I looked beside me to see a boy in a black car laughing to himself. "Prick."

He rolled down his window and poked his head out.

"Did you shit yourself?" He teased.

"Shut up." I laughed slightly tucking a loose hair behind my ear. "That wasn't funny."

"Yeah, it was, c'mon don't take it harshly."

I crossed my arms as I looked at him. We stared at each other for a few minutes.

"I'm Ethan by the way."

"Payton Ives."

"Oh shit." He said.

"What?"

"You're the principal daughter?"

I nodded as I felt someone's arms come behind me and wrap around me my neck, not in a violent and threatening way, they slug over my shoulders as they folded holding me tight. But not too tight. "What are you doing in the parking lot?" They asked. I turned around with the arms still wrapped around me to see Billie. Our faces close together and his arms still around me.

"I was looking for you,"

"Why?" He laughed as he dropped his arms from around me and I stepped back again.

"I've got news!"

*Beep beep*

We both moved suddenly as we turned to look bath at Ethan in the car laughing.

"Who's this?" Billie asked me confused.

"Ethan, I just met him."

"So let me get this straight," Ethan said as he stopped laughing. "You're-" he said pointing at me. "-The principal's daughter. And you date him?" He asked pointing now at Billie.

"No- we- we don't- erm-"

"-We aren't dating," Billie said as he cut my off of my rambling.

"Seems it." He mumbled. "Anyway get out my way,"

I sighed as I grabbed billies hand and pulled him away. We walked to his car, "you want a ride home?"

"Sure,"

We got into his car as he turned to me.

"Why aren't you driving?"

"I wanna know this news first,"

"Alright, you'll never believe it. Are you ready?"

"Yep."

"Okay so... my moms on a business trip!" I shouted. He looked at me puzzled.

"What's so exciting about that?" He asked confused. "She goes on one every week on a Friday."

"No!" I laughed. "She's going on a business trip for the whole weekend!"
