Chapter 12: Master Yoda

Master Yoda sat on the floor in the living room. Luke and Leia sat in front of him, holding each others hand. It was a habit they had both developed, for comfort. If one of them was scared, they would hold the others hand.
"Nothing to fear, you have, children. Here to harm you, I am not. Here to learn about you, I am." Anakin knew Luke and Leia recognized Master Yoda from council meetings, but they must have known he was here on more serious terms than when they normally saw him.
"Wish to be with the children alone I do. Safe they will be." Padmé looked at Anakin for reassurance. He nodded, then they left, accompanied by Ahsoka and Obi Wan.
"I remember my first Training with Master Yoda." Ahsoka said, putting a hand on Padmés shoulder.
"I was three then. He only uses the force to test their strength and will power. It's really just a test."
"I remember mine as well." Said Obi Wan.
"It is completely harmless. He also checks their Midi Chlorian count and adds it to the Ancient Jedi list."
"I guess this is really happening then. They're really becoming Jedi." Padmé said, sadly. Anakin pulled her toward him and wrapped his arm around her.
"They'll be ok." He said.

"Children, already learned to use the force, I sense you have. A droid, have you?" Leia nodded. She let go of Lukes hand to pull her Kyber droid out of her pocket. She cautiously handed it to Yoda.
"A Kyber droid, I see. Show me how you use it will you?" Leia rapped the silver oval on the head, and it sprung to life and flew away. She followed after it, closely followed by Yoda. Luke was still too shy.
Leia ran into the kitchen. She closed her eyes and searched for the feeling of the warm pull from the Kyber crystal. She walked over to the fruit bowl, reached her hand in, and pulled out the now dormant droid.
"Very good, you did, child. Used the force, you did." Yoda was impressed.
"Another way to use the force, I will teach you, young one." Yoda took the droid from Leia.
"Your eyes, leia. Close them." She did. "See the droid in your head you will. Pick it up, and bring it towards you, but use your hands you will not, use your mind you will." Leia did as the master said. Reaching out to grab the droid with her mind and bring it to her other hand. She felt the slightly warmed metal settle its weight into her palm. She opened her eyes to see the droid, with its blue Kyber crystal eyes, looking at her. Yoda heard a giggle, and he turned around to see Luke lifting his droid out of its hiding place, from 10 feet away.
"Very good, that is, Luke, and Leia. Learned all I need, I have. Join me, you will, children." Leia and Luke came to Yoda. He had learned that the best way to get a blood sample from the children was to not warn them before hand. He slipped the blood reader into his sleeve and put his hand on Leia's, he squeezed it as the needle poked in, and took some blood.
"Ouch!" She said, but didn't seem to realize what had happened. He did the same to Luke.
"Run among now, you may. See you again soon, I will." Leia looked at the blood reader in Yoda's hand, though he had tried his hardest to hide it.
"Why?" She asked him. Yoda sensed she had known all long that her blood was being taken.
"How strong you are with the force, this device will say." Leia nodded her head, then followed after her brother.
"Smart, this child is. A powerful warrior, she will be." Yoda looked down at the blood reader to see that the children's Midi Chlorian counts were very close to their fathers. Anakin's has been above 20,000, so yoda predicted that Luke and Leias would be just as high. Though, since a Jedi has never had children before, he wasn't sure how the Midi chlorians would transfer through lineage. He walked into the living room where Padmé, Anakin, Obi Wan, and Ahsoka were talking.
"Wish to speak with you I do. The parents, and the masters." The conversation stopped as yoda entered the room.
"Almost as high as yours, the children's Midi Chlorian count is , master skywalker. Already using the force, they are. In Leia, foresee a strong warrior, and a fierce protector, I do. In Luke, sensed a strong bond with the force, I have."
"What does this mean for their training, master Yoda?" Obi wan asked.
"Picked the correct masters, I have for the children. Leave you to your training I will."
"Thank you, master Yoda." Anakin said, as the old green man walked out the door. The second he was out of sight, the family was upon the twins.
"Luke! Leia!" Padmé called. The other three followed her in search of the twins. They were found on the floor of their bedroom, fast asleep in a pile of one year olds on the floor.
