"Mom I'm scared." Leia said as Padmé readjusted her headdress.
"So was I princess, but I was much younger than you. You are strong, and smart, and beautiful, and you have your entire family behind you. And you know that that extends much farther than your Father, Luke, and I." Padmé said, smoothing the wrinkles of her daughters dress.
"But what if I screw up? What if someone dies because of me or gets hurt or.."
"Sometimes that happens. You can't go back in time and change it, you can only decide what happens after." Padmé said, turning her daughter toward the mirror. Leia nodded.
"I love you mom." She said.
"I love you too Leia. Now, you have a coronation ceremony to attend."

"Announcing the new queen Of Naboo, Leia Skywalker!" The doors behind the throne room were thrown open, and Leia walked in. She walked across the floor and toward her new throne, her lightsaber hanging on the side of her dress. Her handmaidens followed behind her. She kneeled in front of her advisor,
"Do you, Leia Skywalker, accept your duties as queen, to uphold our government and protect our people for as long as you are in office?"
"I do." She said.
"Then rise and take your place as Queen." She did as commanded, and sat in the throne. The people cheered and she felt a weight lifted off her chest. She met her fathers face, he smiled at her, then she went to Luke, who winked, Rex who pretended to Ruffle her hair, and Obi Wan who grinned. Finally she reached her mother who was smiling more proudly than Leia had ever seen her in her life. She was queen now. The queen of her home planet of Naboo.

The next few days were filled with festivities, but she had to return to her duties at some point. One of which was handling the shipments coming in from the trade federation. A mysterious shipment had been coming in to the yard every day for almost a week, and it was up to her to find out why. She and her father strolled down to the shipping yards where Leia saw a strange, non Nubian or trade federation ship.
"What is this piece of Junk?" She asked inspecting it.
"Piece of Junk? Piece of junk? Did you hear the all mighty queen of Naboo chewie, she called our Millenium Falcon a piece of Junk. I'll have you know princess, this so called "piece of junk" made the Kestle Run in less than twelve parsecs." The scruffy man appeared through the gangplank carrying boxes of unknown materials.
"You again! I should have you throw in the prison for illegal transportation of goods. I can only assume whatever's in these boxes is no good. Kestle you said!? Well you're probably shipping death- oh." She cut herself off as she kicked over one of the boxes and pounds of fruit rolled out into the ground.
"You got me, princess. I'm transporting highly dangerous fruit."
"I could still have you arrested for illegal shipments." Leia retorted. But suddenly a tablet was flashed in front of her face showing the shipping records, payments, and papers.
"Well it seems as if you've got nothing on us here, so I'll just leave my fruit, and go. Have a nice day princess." Han saluted, and walked up into the ship, just as her father was walking around from the other side holding a rather important looking piece of metal. She grinned at him and laughed, and together the father and daughter waited as the ship tried to take off, but instead made a whole lot of clunking sounds, and emitted black smoke from the unfurling gangplank.
"Not a price of Junk, you said?" Leia asked as Han grouchily left his ship.
"I will have the palaces maintenance staff look at it. Meanwhile, I will inspect your paper work and ask you a few questions about your deliveries."
"Oh I don't think that's necessary, your highness."
"Oh I think it is flyboy." Anakin said, glaring at the space pilot. He begrudgingly followed Leia into the palace.
