I woke up to the sun glaring through the blinds, I rolled out of bed and ripped them open. I just stood there for a bit, feeling the warm sun shining on me. "Ahhhh first morning in Sydney, check" I said to myself. I walked into my bathroom to get ready for my day. I had an amazing shower then I did all my skin routine and was waiting for my long ass hair to dry.
Today I was going to go into the city and explore a bit while also shopping around for room decorations. It was a pretty cold day today so I wore a long sleeve and pants.

I left the house and took a tram into the city since it wasn't that far from my house. When I got into the city I founds the closest mall area and started shopping. By the end of my little trip I had blown too much money but majority of it was necessary for my room. I got things like led liked like all of the tiktok people, a few candles and things to make my room feel less empty till I could get the larger things. I also got a few too many clothes but I hardly brought anything with my from Adelaide so it didn't really matter you know.
I made my way home and what a surprise I was alone, I wasn't too mad about it though because that meant I could blast music without annoying dad. At around 6pm my dad came home and told me that I had gotten into the school I wanted which I was super excited about. I had to get my uniform fitted and tailored the next day which was good because it gave me something to do. For the mean time I spent some time with my dad and decorated my room with the things I had gotten earlier. Yet again we had pizza for dinner because we hadn't had time to go grocery shopping. But yeah, that was my first day in Sydney
Ruel's POV:
When I woke up the morning after tour had finished I did feel a bit sad to be honest. I was going to miss everyone but I knew it was only a matter of time before I would be touring for my ep that would be coming out in a few months. Speaking of the ep, we were half finished writing and recording the songs. I had a feeling that I was going to be putting 'Real Thing' on it. Was it the right thing to do though? I mean I sorta stole the melody from Tati. Oh Tati, I wanted to see her again so so bad but how would I? She lives in Adelaide and I live in Sydney. I would do almost anything just to see her again or even just get her number so we could talk again. Ugh! I need to stop dreaming and thinking about her I'm sick of it, but am I really? I could honestly see myself falling in love with her, her looks, her talent, her everything. God Ruel, what are you thinking?! You have met this girl once and you are already infatuated by her. Her long, chocolate hair, her beautiful blue eyes, her tiny petite frame that made me just want to keep her safe and not to mention her voice and that giggle, both make me melt just thinking about them.
I finally make myself stop fantasising about her and get up for the day. I wasn't really up to much because of how tired we all were from tour but that wasn't going to stop me from getting things done. First thing was to find my uniform so I was ready for school on Monday. I found it finally, but my pants looked a bit small. I mean I haven't worn them since what, year 9 maybe? Oh well, I tried them on and boy was I right. They didn't even get to my ankles, geez I guess I did grow a few centimetres in the past 2 years. I guess I would have to go to the uniform shot tomorrow to get ones that actually fitted me because I was not going to look like and idiot on my first day back for a few months.
For the rest of the day I mostly played fifa and worked on music a bit. You know the usual. How time flys when your playing video games, it was already 11pm when I decided it was time to stop playing fifa. I had a shower and what not then went to sleep.
~next day~
"RUEL GET UP WE ARE GOING TO THE UNIFORM SHOP IN 10 MINUTES" I heard my mum call which woke me up from my deep deep slumber. "Ahh shit" I said as I rolled and fell out of my bed, thank god I showers last night. I put on a hoodie and sweats and ran downstairs to get some brekky before I went up stairs again to brush my teeth and grab my phone. I was out the door and in the car in record time, mum was making me drive so that I would be able to get my p plates quicker. That's one thing being on tour does, it makes me so behind with all my driving requirements, at the rate I'm going I'm going to be in my mid twenty and still not have my full licence yet.
I parked outside the uniform shop for my school and went in, we told the lady that I needed some new winter pants that would be a decent length on me. I wasn't getting my hopes up for them to fit me too well because I was so tall. The was only one other person in the shop. A man who looked to be in his mid 40's. I guess he was waiting for someone in the change rooms. The lady came back with a few different sizes to try on, so I headed into the end changing room and tried to figure out which pair fit me the best, ugh this was the hardest thing ever! As I was trying some of the pants on I heard the other change room open and heard a girl giggle, that giggle, it sounded like Tati, but it couldn't she was in Adelaide. I ignored my thoughts and kept on trying pants on. I come out with the pair that fit the best from them all to get the fitters and my mums opinion of course. They agreed, so I went back in to change back to my sweats. As I came out of the changing room again, I saw the girl, the resemblance from seeing the back of her looked exactly like Tati, super short with long dark hair. I couldn't be her I kept telling myself. She was walking out the door so I didn't get a chance to see her face. I asked my mum about it and she just told me she wasn't really paying attention, way to go mum. Anyways, we left and I spent the rest of the weekend preparing to go back to school and taking to my friends and all that jazz.
