Part 13

he hums and thinks for a second, "exclusive, so like kinda dating but take it slow since we've only known each other for a few days" he says this as if he could read my mind because he explained it perfectly.
"yes exactly" i laugh
"yeah i like the sound of that!... but does this mean we can kiss or nah" he says with a cheeky grin covering his face
"well that depends on you bub, because personally id like that" i say, teasing him with my words a bit.
"so that's a yes" he whispers as he wraps his arm around my waist as we lay in his bed.

he kisses my cheek as we lay together. it was comforting having him there and i know he feels the same way. it was magical how we just clicked and how life brought us back to each other after that first interaction at McDonalds back in Adelaide.

soon his parents arrived back to their house and it was time for me to meet them. I was so incredibly nervous but at the same time, from what I knew of them they seemed like great people and if they were anything like any of their children I know I will love them.

We went downstairs to greet Kate and Ralph, as soon as they spotted me their faces immediately lit up when they guessed who I was. 
"oh my gosh honey it's so lovely to meet you!" Kate said walking up to me, her accent very prominent.
"it lovely to meet you too ms. Van Dijk" I say feeling slightly awkward due to my slobbish appearance.
and as it goes in every story ever kate says "no no call me kate and my husband ralph"
"hey there, Tatiana right?" he says stepping forward to shake my hand.
"yeah you can just call me tati though, it great to meet you, both of you" i say looking back and forth at them with a genuine smile on my face, something that never seemed to fade when i was around this family.

Coco had made a whole feast for dinner and we all sat at the table, me next to ruel of course. 
"so tati, ruel tells us that you do music too?" ralph asks me.
"yeah i do actually, back in Adelaide i used to do a few gigs here and there at pubs to get some recognition!" I reply.
"oh thats great honey" kate says.
"you know we could arange to send a demo to some people to get you some more recognition," ralph says.
"oh my god that would be amazing! but i dont want to seem like im using you, any of you" i say 
"tati dont worry about that, ive heard you sing you deserve it, you would make it in the industry" ruel says, reassuring me.
"i mean yeah of course how could i refuse" i say, accepting the offer.
"perfect ill take you to the studio next time i go in" ruel says sounding excited about the idea of it.
"wait tati do you have any origionals you could record?" ruel continue, realising that that is a very important factor.
"uhm yeah I do, ive never performed it though, i usually do covers for the crowd" i say nervously, reaising that i would need to actually perform an original
"ok its setteled then, you are coming when we record the song we wrote together"  he said
"oh yeah i forgot you aked me to come in for that too, thats to exciting!"
"well it seems like you two have everything already figured out" ralph says looking proudly at us.
