Real Thing-Ruel Fanfic

Part 6

Ruel's POV:

To my surprise Tati and me shared a lot of the same classes, I mean so did most of my friend group so when Emma told me that Tati and her had classes it meant I had classes with her too. The rest of the day went by pretty smoothly until 3:25pm.
It was the end of the school day and the gang had invited Tati to come to the beach after school, she agreed which made me happy that she was comfortable with us. We just left the school gates when I turn around to see that Tati had stopped.
"Is everything alright?"
"Yeah, I just don't have a bikini with me"
"Oh, I can sit on the beach with you if you want"
By this time the rest of the group was standing with us.
"Nah my house is like a five minute walk from here I'll meet you there"
"I'll come with you if you want" I say, not knowing what her answer would be.
"Actually, yeah sure, I would probably get lost to be honest"
"Ok then it's settled" I said so that the whole group knew what was happening.
We said our goodbyes and headed our seperate ways, me with Tati and then Emma, Flynn, Alex, Sunday, Mary and Oscar on their way to the beach.

Tati and I started walking in what I guess was the direction of her house.
"Oh I live this way too" I say pretty surprised
"Really? Wow I didn't expect to see you again and now we live like a few streets away from each other"
"Life's crazy like that sometimes, but you know what I like this crazy part of life"
We walked in silence for a bit before we heard footsteps coming up behind us.
"Ooh does big boy Ruel have a girlfriend" we hear some voices say behind us
"Just keep walking Tati" I whisper to her as I grab her hand
"Aww look they're holding hands how cute, how would your manager feel about you little secret" the voices said again.
I turned around to see a group of boys and a few girls videoing us.
"Guys can you please just leave me and my friend alone, we don't want trouble here" I say to maybe try and get them to leave us alone.
"Being rude to your fans, how rude" the boys chuckle.
"Tati in about three seconds I'm gonna start running, be ready" I whispered. I feel her hand squeeze mine, I take this as conformation that she is ready. We turned around and run down the street, Tati directed us into a high end street where there were lots of people.
"Cmon mines the one right at the end!" Tati said quite loudly.
I look up at the very end of the street to see a quite large and modern house, 'wow' I thought to myself.

Tati's POV:

After running from those people, I steered us on to my street, I reached into my pocket and grabbed my keys. I let go of Ruel's hand and stuck the key into the lock and let us inside. I closed the door and turned around to Ruel lying on the floor. We look at each other panting from running and we just laughed... for ages.
After a minute I caught my breath. "Who were they?"
"Just my favourite haters" he says in a sarcastic tone.
"Oh well do you want to get off of my floor maybe?"
"Nah I think I'll just chill here, it's quite nice" he giggles before he holds out his hand for me to help him up.
"Ugh your so heavy"
"Are you calling me fat?"
"What! No, it's coz your tall you idiot"
"Wow, fat and dumb, way to treat your guest"
I rolled my eyes at him and headed up the stairs. He ran up behind me and then we went into my room. "Ok I'll be one sec I just need to find where I put my bikinis, make yourself at home"

Ruel's POV:

I sit down on Tati's bed and look around her room as she is rummaging though some boxes. I see that she has one of those iPads that is hung on the wall.
"Hey can I put on some music?"
"Yeah sure"
I walk over to the wall and open the iPad, I found Spotify and put on one of her playlists.
"Ahh I found one!" She squealed excitedly
"Ok Ruel I'll be back in just going to put it on"
She walks into her bathroom that's connected to her room. I stand up and have a closer look around her room, I look at some of her pictures, the one I was looking at was of her and what I think was her friend she was with when we first met. I hear the door unlock and she walks out, still in her uniform. As she walked out the door the song changed.
"Oh I love this song" she says as she starts singing it.
"Same, Tyler is one of my faves"
The song was 'see you again' by Tyler, the creator.
As it gets to the chorus she starts dancing around the room.
"Ruel dance with me!" She says while running over to me. She grabs my hands and we dance around in Tyler's part before we burst out laughing from how bad I am at dancing. We look at each other and sing "can I get a kiss, and can you make it last forever" while keeping direct eye contact with each other. Them time stands still, still keeping eye contact I step in closer to her, she too takes a step in.

Tati's POV:

He takes a step closer to me and I do the same. He in links our hands and puts them around my waist pulling me closer. Did he want to kiss me?
I look up at him and he bends down and rests his forehead against mine. We stayed like that for a bit until I ruin the moment
"Shit Ruel we have to get to the beach"
"Uh yeah right haha" he looks a bit confused as he snaps out of I guess some sort of trance.
I break away from the embrace and get a towel from my closet.
"Hey, are you coming or not?"
"Yeah yeah one sec" he turns around and grabs his things off my bed.
We make our way down stairs and then out my back door to where we have stairs that lead down to the beach.
