Dear Diary,

Wow..Risk was actually..Fun! We played for about three hours and we had a blast. It looks complicated but it's simple. Each player has a different colored army, Drac was black, I was orange, Mavis was green, Johnny was blue and Dennis was yellow. Getting started was easy, just place one of your soldiers onto one of the territories around the gameboard, which looked like the map of the world. I went for Australia because it can't be attack from all sides and it was small. But I didn't have much luck, Drac came in a pushed me out. When you battle someone, the fate of your soldiers depends on five dice. The attacker gets up to three and the defender, which was me, gets only two. It sucked because the dice hated me and I only rolled twos. If you want a Third person P.O.V of the situation, here you go:

"So the basis of the game is to conquer the world." Johnny explained, placing one of his blue soldiers onto Alaska of the United States.

"That doesn't sound to hard." Dennis said, grabbing one of his soldiers and placing it on a territory in Asia.

"I'm not taking any chances." Ericka mumbled, placing one of her orange soldiers onto one of the islands around Australia.

"Don't think your safe down there!" Drac said, placing one of his black soldiers onto one of the territories on Australia.

(So we continued placing our single soldiers onto each territory, until there were no more empty territories. Thats where it got interesting.)

Johnny pulled out the rules and started to explain what to do after all the territories had been filled, "Ok now you can start to build up your soldiers on each territories, and once you think you have enough you can attack other people's armies to take their land. And once you have five soldiers on one piece of land, you can place a cavalry (which is a soldier on horseback) and once you have ten you can place a cannon." Dennis wen't first and tried to control Asia, which was the biggest continent on the board. Mavis Battled Dennis for Asia multiple times, and lost. Mavis was pushed back to Japan where she was stuck and couldn't try to go anywhere or else she would of been destroyed by Dennis's powerful army of five men. Johnny wanted to take over Europe and he succeeded because nobody else was going for it. (And if you didn't know if you take over a continent you get an army BONUS. Every turn you get some soldiers. You count the number of territories and divide that by three to see how many soldiers you get that turn. And if you control a continent you might get three extra or something like that. Alright back to the story.) But Drac was smart and went for North America. He conquered it and started to move into Europe. And as for Ericka, she was doing OK. She had 90% of South America, about two territories in Africa where Johnny was, and two little territories where Drac was in Australia. Once Drac had three men in one of his territories in Australia and Ericka had two men in one of her territories, he went to war.

"Come on SIX!" Drac yelled, rolling the dice on the table.

"Why are you rooting AGAINST ME!?" Ericka yelled, rolling the defence dice on the table. He got a five and a three and she got two two's. "That's some bull." She grumbled as Drac knocked over her two orange guys on the island of Indonesia.

"WE'RE GOING AGAIN!" He said, his excitement showing in his voice as he moved two of his soldiers into the island of New Guinea where she has two soldiers. He rolled two sixes and she rolled one three and one two.

"This ISN'T FAIR!" She cried as he took her four, dead little orange soldiers off the board and walked over to her.

"Rest in peace orange soldiers.." He said, dropping them in front of her, "WHILE I TAKE OVER THE WORLD!!" He ran back over to his seat before she could suckerpunch him.

A few turns later, and Things REALLY changed. Mavis and Johnny's armies had faced a terrible demise. Dennis WIPED Mavis's army out of Japan and he had almost COMPLETE control over Asia. Johnny and Ericka had a good battle in South America, but Ericka won and took over South America. In Africa, she and Johnny had a stand-off, but Ericka attacked Johnny and won with two sixes and one two against two threes. She lost Australia but gained Two other continents with army bonuses. But things took a turn for the worst when Mavis and Johnny were wiped out of the game. Dennis took out Mavis in Russia, where her final five men were and Drac took out Johnny in Ural where he had TEN men, but the dice didn't like Johnny that round. So it was down to three competitors, Dennis, Ericka and Drac. Drac had turned into a SUPERPOWER now, he had all of North America, Australia, and kicked Dennis out of Russia, claiming Europe.

"Here comes Dritler!" (It's 'Drac' and 'Hitler') Drac said in a sing song voice, taking five of his men out of Russia and rushing into Siberia, where Dennis was riding high. Dennis gave a good fight, but Drac overpowered him and kicked him out.

"It's more like the 'Black Plague'." Ericka commented, placing five soldiers onto Venezuela, where she and Drac had been doing a stand-off with Central America (that's Mexico). He had three cannons and she had three cannons and two horses.

"It's like the Cold War," Johnny said, looking at their standoff in North and South America, "none of you are stupid enough to make the first move."

"Maybe not here but when we're alone.." Johnny covered Dennis's ears before Drac could say any more. Now Drac had almost taken over the whole board. Ericka had started to stockpile soldiers on Venezuela to keep Drac from coming into South-Africa, but he was stockpiling as well. There were around 60 soldiers on each piece of land before Drac challenged Ericka to battle.

"You aren't getting into South Africa!" She yelled, tossing the dice onto the table.

"We'll see about that." He said, rolling his dice. She got two threes and he got two threes. And the rule is if there are any ties, the defender always wins. He took away two soldiers and they continued to brawl. But after a long fight, Drac won and pushed Ericka back to peru and Brazil. Later she got Venezuela back, and then Drac got it back. It went on for a long time. In the meantime, Ericka got Australia back, but that really didn't do any good. Dennis was soon taken out of the game and it was down to 'The Black Plague' and 'Orange you glad i'm attacking you?' The black army and Orange army. Dracula and Ericka. Whoever makes one wrong move is out of the game. But the signs are pointing at Drac to win but there could be a turn around.

"It's called 'Risk' not 'Be Safe'." Ericka said.

"I think that's enough 'Risk' for now," Mavis piped up, picking Dennis up out of his chair where he fell asleep, "We can finish it tomorrow."

"yes..We will finish this.." Drac said tauntingly to Ericka across the table. She did a glare and got up. They were walking down the hall, a few feet apart, to be safe. Then Ericka felt a slight tug on her sleeve. She looked back and saw Drac using his magic to slightly pull her sleeve.

"Cut it out." She said playfully as he tugged harder. Then he tugged so hard he pulled her right into his chest. She quickly retaliated and backed up,

"Come on," She said, walking backwards down the hall, "you know we can't."

"It was worth a shot!" He said, starting to walk after her.
