Baekhyun's POV

Darkness. It was all I could see and feel. I saw the outlines of different parts of my room, really poorly. The moonlight shining into my shared bedroom were the only thing that lit up the darkness. Not only outside and in my room, but also in my heart.

I was waiting for her again to come home. It was already 3AM and I laid in bed hoping she'd walk into the room any minute now, hopefully sober, alone and with a good excuse.

I heard keys unlocking the main door to our apartment and before I knew it I got out of bed and walked to see if it was her.

I could hear stumbles and soft crashing. As if something or someone would've pushed something against the wall. I turned to my left to see my girlfriend pinned up against the wall, with yet another one of her million guys leaning in on her, kissing her and being all over her.

Why would I even hope that tonight would be different? It's been going on like this for one year now already. I didn't say anything. I never did. I just let her do anything she wants with me.

The guys entering and exiting our apartment never cared a single bit about me or my presence. In fact they'd just do it infront of me and I was left with the feeling of discomfort.

"Maddie, who's he?" I asked just to get ignored. I walked closer to them and gently held her arm to stop them for a second. She turned to me with an annoyed look.

"Don't fucking touch me Baekhyun. Why are you always so annoying? Can't you just leave me alone, don't you see I'm busy?" she said full of rage. She kicked the guy out. I clearly made her lose the interest in having fun tonight.

She walked to the kitchen and I just followed her. The scent of alcohol was lingering in my nostrils.

She got a glass and wine out of the cabinet and poured some into her glass. "Can't you stop drinking? You're already drunk enough." I said worriedly but she didn't like it at all.

She looked at me with pure hatred. Her eyes were dark and cold and the last bit of love left her. She threw the glass to my direction and it hit the floor right before my toes.

"Don't you dare fucking tell me what to do or else.." she didn't continue her sentence and just left.

Maddie. Or Maddison. The girl I fell in love with 2 years ago.
