(Montage of various plants growing around the farm to show the passage of time. Afterwards, Anne is shown with Wahkoowah, a native american girl around the age of ten. She is wearing simple, Nez Perce style clothing, and has braided hair. She and Anne run around an orchard, picking apples together.)
Anne: I don't suppose you've ever tasted an apple, have you?
(Wahkoowah takes a bite out of one, her facial expressions seem to imply she's never had one, but likes it, after swallowing, she smiles.)
Anne: Alright then, I'm glad you like it.
Baal: (Yelling from the distance.) Anne, Lord Satan would like to see you.
Anne: I'd better go, I'll see you in an hour or so.
(She runs off.)
