48. THE TRAITOR.

Grace was not able to handle the shock and fainted on the spot.
'Is this how things will end? Is he really dead? Will I not be able to see him again?I hope this is a dream' This were the last thoughts that came to his mind before he fell into a totally blank state.

When Grace opened his eyes he was in a frenzy, people around him were giving him looks which were rather filled with sympathy and sadness. He scratched his head,as he recalled the previous scene from the road 'Scar!!!?'

He looked around him, he wanted to confirm that it was a dream. "Where is he?!" The more he looked for him the more he realised that it wasn't a dream. "Grace don't panic calm down.. it's nothing, don't worry"  Breaker said as he tried to help him calm down. "I want to see him... Where is he?!" He kept on asking the same question

"He... Is... He is fine. You just calm down and we will go and visit him" Breaker said. Grace was quite for a while and then asked again.."visit him? Where?"

"In the hospital" Breaker said as he sighed. Grace was shocked,it was common sense that after what he saw it would have been like this. But still it was scary to imagine it, he tried to stand up from the couch but his legs felt weak and was not able to support his body. "Grace, carefull!... I told you... You need to take rest" Breaker said as he held him and helped him to sit back on the couch. "Garry, bring some water" he ordered another guy. After drinking water Grace was lot more calm, Breaker inhaled deeply before answering every questions that was on Grace's mind.

"The accident was really very serious,and... it took some time to find his body. And because of all that his condition was very bad ...... So now.... He.." Breaker looked deep into his eyes as he said "he is in coma" his voice was low but Grace was still able to hear him. "You were unconscious and it's already been almost a day (like the incident took place yesterday night and now it was almost evening) so we were not able to inform you..." Breaker explained him but the only thing Grace could register in his mind was the news about Scar.  Grace  could hear his heart breaking into peaces as he heard this 'coma?! He.. said coma?'

Tears started pouring down from his eyes as he looked at Breaker and others "you are lying... You all are lying to me.... I know he is trying to prank me again. But this time I won't fall for it" Breaker took him in a tight hug as he ruffled his hair "Grace... Don't cry.... It's ok. Everything will be fine, calm down. We will go to see him once he is in better condition" he said.

"No.. I want to see him, I want to see him now. Please take me to him,I want to see him please" he kept on crying as he begged him to take him to the hospital. Breaker didn't want Grace to see Scar in a bad condition, because it won't help Grace to feel better. It will worsen the situation if he sees him in such condition. "Please brother,just once.. please" Breaker felt really bad "okay,we... We will go tomorrow. Okay?"

"No,I want to see him now.."

He was about to explain him some more when suddenly he heard a loud sound of glass breaking. "Shit!!" Breaker exclaimed as he heard another gun shot. Grace was shocked at first but then came to his senses very quickly as he was now used to such things "someone is attacking?!" He said as he wiped off his tears "who is it? Are they...." Grace asked as he saw some familiar uniforms.

"Yes it's him and his gang" John a guy from Scar's gang said as he held Grace by his arms and pulled him towards himself. Grace looked at him a bit confused, if he was trying to save him he won't be holding him like this. Is he... As soon as he realised something was wrong he called out for Scar "Scar!!" But he forgot the fact for a second that there is no Scar here. John blocked Grace's mouth who was trying to call out to Breaker "Break- mm~"

Breaker was busy with others handling the sudden attack,he looked back as he felt he heard Grace calling out for him... That's when he saw John taking him towards the door "Hey...!! John what are you doing?!" He said as he approached them, John took out a gun and aimed it on Grace's head "one move, and he will be on the floor in pieces" John said in a deep threatening voice.

Breaker looked at him a bit astonished "you b#stard!!you are the one who snitched on us..." He ran towards them a bit raged.

*Bang*

"Brother!!" Grace screamed as he saw Breaker falling down on the floor, but he couldn't do anything as he was being held by the traitor. Even others were not able to save him as John kept Grace on his gun point and the others were scared to make a wrong which may hurt Grace.

John pushed Grace inside a suv car, and drove it towards an unknown place. "Where are you taking me?!I swear if he comes to know about this. He wi--"
"A person who is in deep coma, will come to me with a gun and kill me?" John said as he laughed. Grace looked at him as he heard his words... "Do you know what the doctors said? They said that it's almost impossible to recover and even if there is a chance it will take more than years to come back to senses or he may not at all recover. And guess what I think they are right, as James is planning to kill him inside the hospital" he said as he snickered.

This lockdown is greatly affecting me 😥(well not that greatly)
