Reading this over a month later makes me realize that I wasn't the best author, but it gets better I promise. That's something I struggle with towards the beginning sometimes. I can think of a plot, just not put it into words.

Denki POV

"Denki!!" I opened my eyes slowly to see the entire Bakusquad (except Bakugo) in my dorm.

Kirishima picks up a party horn and blows it in my face. "Happy birthday!" I smile and sit up catch a glimpse of the time. "Why are you here at 3 in the morning?" I yawn.

"Well, I set a reminder on my phone for all of our birthdays. I remembered that you would get your letter today so I stayed up to get it for you!!" Mina held up an envelope. "No way! Aizawa would kill you if he knew."

I grabbed the letter and looked down at it. "Why did it come so late?" Sero asks. "They come at midnight." Mina explains.

"It took me forever to get these two to come, until I reminded them that you would get to read the letter." I tore off the edge of the envelope and unfolded the lined paper.

It read:

Kaminari,
Hey. I probably shouldn't be writing something so important at 2 AM, but I can't sleep so I am. It took me a bit to get out of your embrace but you finally agreed when I said we could get chicken nuggets for your birthday.
We'll probably just end up inviting some friends over, ordering some food and watching movies or being crackheads. After they leave I plan to let you do as you please. When my parents found out we were soulmates, I didn't know if they would be too pleased. However they supported me even if I was gay.
But what we've learned together is to be ourselves and love each other for who we are.
Denki, happy birthday. Your cute little hair is so soft by the way.
Love,

Your soulmate

"Whaaaat!?" I cry. "They didn't even give me a hint!"

"Denki, you dumbass!" Mina says, bopping me on the head. "It says right there: 'even if I was gay.'"

My eyes widen. My soulmate is a boy? "This is great!" I smile. "You're gay!?" Kirishima's jaw drops.

"Dude, it was kinda obvious. He acts so gay. Look at his makeup box and painted nails!" Sero points out.

"That's pretty gay." Kirishima sighs. "You say that like fucking Bakugo isn't your main hobby." Mina smirks.

We talk about the letter clearly contemplating sleep, until someone quietly knocks on the door. As I get up to answer the door, I realize I look like complete shit.

I slowly open the door while yawning and see none other than Hitoshi Shinso. "Shinso..?" I look at him a bit confused. "What are you doing?"

"I heard you guys." I look into his eyes. "I'm so sorry! Did we wake you? You look exhausted!"

"I get 0-12 hours of sleep a week. I'm fine." He yawns. "Usually around 6 but not the point." Shinso mumbles the last part.

"So it's your birthday isn't it?" He smiles. I nod. "Mine's on Friday." "Woah, that's cool! Our birthdays are two days apart!" I laugh a little.

I feel a bit strange talking to Shinso. He never talks to me. Why were we having a normal conversation like this at 3 am?

"Who is it Denki?" Mina calls, glancing at the doorway. "Oh, hi Shinso." She says sort of disappointed. "Mina we should probably leave." Sero says. "It's 3 am and I'm exhausted." Kirishima nods in agreement. "Fiiiine." Mina agrees. She gives me a quick hug, and Sero and Kirishima just give me high fives or some other things that bros do.

(Ew I can't believe I wrote that)

"I guess I'll go too." Shinso turns around and walks back to his dorm." I feel my heart drop a bit, but choose to ignore it. "Goodnight!" I call.

The next morning

"Happy birthday Denki!" Uraraka says cheerfully. "Thanks!" I smile and notice the calendar says all of our birthdays and feel a little bit less special.

Shortly after Uraraka's "happy birthday," everyone else said happy birthday making me feel a bit more less special. Mina noticed and gave me a pat on the shoulder.

I noticed Shinso drag himself out of the elevator and I only noticed because he almost bumped into me. "Sorry!" I say and back up. "It's fine." He mumbles. Shinso forces himself over to the coffee machine and once his coffee is done, he chugs it all in one go. After letting it digest a bit, he starts to prepare another cup. "Are you just gonna drink coffee on our day off? Wait, why do we have a day off?" I looked around curiously.

"Mr. Aizawa thought that Shinso should get to know everyone a bit better." Iida explains. But it's Wednesday... Why didn't we do it on Monday? I push the thought away because Kirishima starts a conversation.

Third person POV

Yamada Hizashi gets up out of bed slowly careful to not wake up his sleepy husband, Shota Aizawa. After 10 years of marriage, he's learned that doesn't go very well.

Walking past the door he gets a glance at the calendar and sees it just so happens to be Kaminari's birthday.

All of the students were a bit skeptical about the idea of the loudest person they had ever met moving in with them, however they concluded it would be like two Kaminaris so they decided to suck it up.

The bigger shock was that Shota and Hizashi were Hitoshi's dads. It took a few weeks for the initial shock to wear off for some, but nobody thought any different of Shinso for it, and even if they wanted to they couldn't since their teacher would most likely expel them.

Shinso's POV

When I notice dad looking tired, I have two options: Ignore him to avoid getting screamed at at 9 am or saying good morning and continuing to drink my coffee.

I lead to the conclusion to be brave and say good morning. He smiles and says good morning back. Maybe he wasn't tired and it just appeared to be that way for a second.

"Where's the birthday boy?" Dad says looking around for Denki, and when his eyes land on him he tells me to hop in the car.
