Third person POV
"Let's go somewhere in a few minutes." Kaminari suggests on the final day of the Class 1-A trip. Shinso looks up from the floor where he's organising his clothes and nods.
After about twenty minutes of throwing some clothes on and joking around, the two lock their room and head down to the lobby. Hitoshi sends a quick text to his father to let him know him and his boyfriend are heading out.
"Where are you taking me?" The insomniac questions. "That's a surprise." Denki smirks. "I actually don't remember where it is exactly... So we'll just have to look around for a while! Let's hope we don't get lost." The blonde excitedly looks around, with a million thoughts soaring through his mind at once.
"If we get lost I won't be happy."
About ten minutes pass and Kaminari still has no clue where to go. "Whatever, let's just walk around this nice nature reserve." Hitoshi nods and they start their forest exploration. "Do you think anyone's ever died here?" Shinso looks down to his lover and slightly laughs. "I'm serious!" The taller boy shrugs and they continue to scout out the area.
"It's really nice out." The electrification user calmly points out. "Much nicer than by the dorms at least. And it's so peaceful and calm in these woods." His voice sounded soothing and it was peculiar to Hitoshi to hear this tone of voice from Denki. "Yeah.. It is."
Once the two head back to the main road where they entered the reserve, Kaminari's face suddenly lights up. "Follow me!" He smiles grabbing the purple-haired boy's slightly large hand. "I remember where it is!" As Denki pulls Shinso along the sidewalk letting cars zip past, he can't help but smile in ecstasy. This wasn't the same creepy smile you'd see when the boy was exhausted and dying inside, or the fake one that he used to cover up his feelings. The grin on his face showed that he was truly content. Denki took note on this and connected it to the only reasonable thing: love. The smile showed love. This wasn't the same thing as getting your favorite ice cream flavor, this was a loving smile that showed how carefree he felt when the two were together. When the two were together, they were at peace.
After running around the city for about four minutes, they're met with stunning cherry blossoms trailing down from the sky. The city had faded into the distance and the only remarkable thing to be seen was the heavenly forest that Kaminari had located.
"What- Why are we here?" Hitoshi questions as he's led inside along the pathway. "I thought this was a nice, calm place for us to spend some time together. I know we do almost everything together, and we won't really be able to I feel like... So I wanted to do something nice. We always act silly, especially me, and I guess this is me showing my gentle and sort of... Romantic side persay." The blonde leads his soulmate through the sakura trees and they're both left in awe with the beauty a simple tree can contain.
As the two walk in silence just appreciating each others' existence, Kaminari feels a fortunate feeling in his chest. As his palm reaches up to his beating heart, he smiles at the thought of spending his entire life with his love.
"I've noticed you tend to get quiet when you're thinking about something." Shinso points out. "Huh? Oh, yeah."
"Well, leading to conclusions, were you thinking about me?" He teases as they stop and look around their surroundings for what seems like the millionth time. Underneath them is a stream of gorgeous cerulean water, and a beautifully carved birch bridge. Denki leans against the rail and uses his feet to kick up against the bar and propel himself up to his lover's height. "Nah... I was thinking about us." He says connecting their lips.
With you... I'm at peace. And that's all I need to be happy. Thank you Denki Kaminari for bringing out a side of me I never ceased to exist.
