Kirishima's POV
"Can you just hurry the fuck up? It's suppose to rain tonight and I don't feel like walking home in it." Bakugo yells. "I'm coming!" I call rushing to the door where he's waiting for me. "Where are we going?" He asks.
"I thought you were taking me somewhere.." I mumble. "Well I'm trying to be nice! Just take me somewhere that's not complete shit." I nod and we walk to the elevator. In the halls are Mina and Denki, and Bakugo sends them a small nod. "Okay, so there's this place we passed and I've heard they have good food, so maybe-" Suddenly I stop talking and feel a hand placed over my mouth. "I bet the only thing they have is meat."
I laugh a little and move his hand away. "Alright, well I'm not good at this! You should pick." I insist. "Well how am I suppose to fucking know either?" I sigh as we head for the exit. "Let's just walk for a while until we find somewhere!"
After we settle on a direction we start to walk that way. "Ooh, look at the pretty trees!" I point out observing our surroundings. "Wait, there's an arcade! Can we see if they have the game where you throw the little balls to the top and get points?" I 'beg' pointing ahead. "I have no idea what you're talking about but sure."
When we reach the small store I look around before finding it: Ski-Ball. This is arguably the best game to ever exist in any arcade ever even if it is so simple.
I quickly run over and pull out my wallet. "You fucking brought it? You just don't know when to stop." I hear an agitated voice from behind me. He takes the money and stuffs it into one of his pockets only to pull out his own and shove money into my chest for the second time in our lives. He steps over to the side to watch me. "If you're just gonna stare at me the whole time I'll take it back."
Distracting myself from Katsuki I insert the money and the small white balls roll down the slot. I pick one up and aim for the middle, and miss just slightly. Nine more tries.
Without hesitation this time I lift another one and just chuck it, letting it land wherever fate decides. "Damn." I look away awarded after missing again.
After two more tries and still no success, Bakugo stands up and takes the ball from my hand. I step back to give him space and by using a tiny bit of his quirk, (presumably for speed) he manages to get a perfect one hundred. I smile and he just makes a 'tch.' I smile at him warmly and he just looks away with a red face.
Was he.. Blushing?
No, that's impossible.
Towards the end my points stop showing up and I look around in confusion. I look back over to my friend and he stands back up looking as determined as ever underneath that grumpy face.
"Wait- what are you doing!?" I whisper yell as he walks behind the game and burns the back, using a low percentage of power to ensure our safety (and keep the building from setting on fire).
Once he's finished breaking the game, we set off once again. "Why'd you do that back there?" I smile thinking back to the small gesture. "It missed me off." Bakugo mumbles. I smile at the blonde and spot an ice cream parlor. "Can we get ice cream!?" I almost beg and he sighs, pulling out the familiar wallet.
"What's your favorite flavor?" I excitedly ask as we step into the cold shop and securing us a spot in line. "I don't like ice cream that much.." The blonde mumbles stuffing his hands into his pockets. "Oh, well if you decide you want some I'll let you have some of mine!"
The thought of sharing ice cream with him is, well, heavenly. I can just imagine it perfectly.
My daydreaming is interrupted by a slight push on my shoulder. I turn to face the culprit and it dawns on me that it was just my friend signaling for me to move up in line.
