And So It Begins...

Mahiru's P.O.V

"Did someone say something?" I asked. Kyuoki and Ryusei shook their heads. Lily soon appeared. "There you are!" he said. "Oi! Do you know where the s***rat went to?" asked Licht. Lily took a deep breath. "Lawless and the others are currently busy with some 'thing' and can not join us," explained Lily. Licht looked pissed off. "Where did he run off to?!" he yelled. Kyuoki walked up to Licht. "He said that he's doing something important! Let him do what he needs to do!" he said. Licht looked at him and soon said, "So, this is the face of another angle," We stood there. Here he goes with that angle stuff. We soon headed to Misono's house. When we got there, Misono and Tetsu were waiting. "There you are!" yelled Misono. I looked at Kyuoki and Ryusei. "If you want, you can leave. Things might get a little harsh," I said. They nodded and soon left. "Where were you Lily?!" yelled Misono. "Sorry!~ We had a sudden meeting and I just had to go," explained Lily. 

After explaining, we soon sat down. "Shirota, don't you feel weak or something?" asked Misono. I forgot about the separation effects! Wait...I don't feel anything..."No..." I answered. Lily looked concerned. We soon heard a window break and we all rushed towards the window. When we got there, Belkia was waiting. "There you are! Tetsu wants to talk to the black cat's eve," he said. Tsubaki wants to talk to me? Why? "Why the hell would Shirota go?!" yelled Misono. "I'll go," I said. They looked at me. After a few hours, I was at Tsubaki's base.

"There you are," said a familiar voice. Kuro?! I turned around to find him. "Hey Mahiru..." said Kuro. I punched him on his head. "Where did you run off to?!" I yelled. He didn't answer. He looked...sad. "Go on the rooftop. There, you'll find Tsutsu," said Belkia while pointing upwards. When we got there, Tsubaki was sitting down. "There you are," he said while standing up.

"Do you know why big brother thinks humans are monsters?" asked Tsubaki.  

My eyes widened. "Don't listen to him Mahiru!" yelled Kuro. It almost sounded like he wanted to cry. I turned to Kuro. "Why are you calling humans 'monsters'?' I asked. He didn't answer. "Y-you say that whenever we hang out! Why?!" I yelled. 

What am I doing? Why am I yelling at him?

He started to violently shake. "B-because they are..." he answered. What?! "Why?! You know I'm not like that! You know I've been there for you! Are you also calling me a monster?!" I yelled in anger. I soon noticed that Tsubaki wasn't there. "I-I want to break the c-contract! Let's see if you're better off without me!" I yelled. His face looked pained. "Very well then...if that's what you want..." said Kuro while taking off his bell. 

What are you doing?!

He grabbed it and threw it on the floor. He looked at me with a pained face. 

K-Kuro! Stop it!

"This is what you wanted..." he said while stepping on the bell. He destroyed it. The chains appeared. "What's happening?!" I yelled. "End this contract with this pathetic human," said Kuro while the chains slowly faded away. "There," said 'Kuro'. "K-Ku--" "That's not my name anymore," said 'Kuro'. 

What have I done?

Sleepy Ash Of Sloth's P.O.V

I looked at Mahiru. 

I'm sorry...Mahiru. But this is for your safety.

I soon jumped off the building. When I landed, I looked around for anyone from their group. "There you are!" said a familiar voice. It was Lio. "Let's go. Kuan is waiting!" she said while grabbing my hand. 

This is such a pain...

I soon realized that it was still night time. Probably should make it day time again...I looked up to find my siblings. "Nii-san!" yelled lawless. They were all surrounding us. "What do you want?" I asked. Envy stood in front of me. "You!" yelled lawless while pointing at Lio. "Go head back. I'll catch up to you," I said while she nodded. She soon disappeared. "Nii-san! Come to your senses!" yelled lawless. "I already have," I said. Wrath soon smacked me. "No, you haven't. Stop lying," she said. I looked at her. "Shut up. As the oldest of all of you, I order you to leave 'us' alone." I said. They all looked at me with shocked faces. "Nii-san! This isn't you!" yelled lawless. "You don't know me. You don't know who I really am," I said. I walked in between them. "Now if you excuse me, I have to get back to work," I said while waving my hand. 

They're such a pain...

When I arrived, I went directly to my old cell. "I see you've remembered your old cell. Not that it bothers me or anything," said Kuna while walking into my cell. "How did it go?" he asked with a grin. I didn't respond. He walked closer to me and grabbed my shoulder. "Did you miss me?~" he asked. "Like hell I would," I said. He smiled. "We need to clean you. Should we help you or--" "I'll do it myself," I responded. I stood up and I walked towards the showers. I started to undress. Lio soon walked in. "U-umm...h-here are y-y-your clothes," she said with a red face. She set them down and quickly left. After I took a shower, I looked at the clothes. They were my old ones. (You know. The black cloak with the striped scarf and the white shirt under it) 

I put them on and walked out. "There you are! Come on. Let's go to my office," said Kuan with a smile. I sighed and followed him. When we got there, papers were all over the floor. "Sorry for the mess. I've separated your missions ever since you left us," explained Kuan while he pointed at the big pile of papers. I walked to them. I grabbed the first one and started to read it. 

Kidnap the daughter of the world's most famous writer? 

"If you want, you can do that one," said Kuan. "You could've sent anyone for this one," I said. He shook his head. "But you're the only one who can turn into a cat. They have a lot of guards," said Kuan. I sighed. 

I wonder...why was I even made? What is my purpose?

Lily's P.O.V   

Mahiru-Kun came into the mansion with a sad expression. "Mahiru-Kun, what happened?" I asked while walking towards him. He started to cry. I hugged him. "It's alright if you don't want to tell us," I said. Misono led him to a room. Tetsu followed. "We have some bad news..." said pride while he appeared. My other siblings were also here. 

If everyone is here...then that means things are worse than we thought...

"What happened?" I asked. Lawless took a deep breath. "Nii-san says he's back but he doesn't act like he is. And he was with the girl who attacked me and Tsubaki," said Lawless. "Speaking of Tsubaki, where is he?" I asked. They were silent. Wrath and Gluttony sighed. "We'll go look for him. Meanwhile, talk to nii-san's eve. Maybe he knows something," said Wrath while they left the mansion. I looked at the rest. "You may leave now, envy," said pride while Jeje left the mansion. The rest of us walked into the room our eves were in. When we entered, Mahiru was still crying. "There you are you s***rat!" yelled Licht while he kicked Lawless. They soon ran out of the room. "Follow us," said Misono while Tetsu followed. I closed the door and walked towards them. 

When we arrived in the living room, Misono looked at me and pride. "Where is sloth?" he asked. Pride looked down at the floor. "He left." was pride's answer. I looked at him. "What do you mean he left?" I asked. Pride started to tremble. "Hugh? Is something wrong?" asked Tetsu. Pride shook his head. He lives up to his sin. "Anyways, what did Mahiru say?" I asked. Misono took a deep breath. "He said when he got to Tsubaki's base, sloth was there. They talked for a while until they reached the rooftop. There, everything went bad. In the end, Mahiru and sloth broke their contract." explained Misono. My eyes widened. 

"What could have caused all this to happen?" I asked. 

"'Their' back, lust. 'They' are back..." said pride.

My eyes widened even more. 

Kuan's P.O.V 

"Are you ready for your first mission after 104 years?" I asked with smile. No.1 didn't answer. He hasn't changed a bit! I'm not saying that it's a bad thing but, something tells me that 'Mahiru' guy did something to No.1. I feel like he changed No.1...

"I'll be back," said No.1 while he left. "Ah!~ And so it begins!~ Welcome back...Itsuki-san..." I said to myself.

Hi guys! Thank you for reading! All I wanted to say is that I've noticed I'm only working on this story and not the other one. Starting tomorrow, I'll be updating the other story. That'll be my new schedule. This week I'll be focusing on 'Taken From Home' and next week I'll focus on this one.
