"Nii-san..." I said while walking slowly into the shadows. It's been six hours since I ran away. Should I go back? No. He'll hurt them. I continued to walk until I found a lake. It's been a while since I last drank water. I scooped water onto my hands and drank from them. It felt so peaceful. I looked at my clothes. They suddenly turned into a blue jacket with black fur on the inside (To make it easier, I'll just show you a picture)

These somehow were more conferrable than the other ones. I could jump and do backflips. I smiled and continued to walk along the lake. I soon heard a loud crash coming from the darker parts of the forest. I wanted to see what made such a loud crash but my body didn't move. "Come here..." said a deep voice. I scratched my head. Maybe I'm hearing things. I soon thought to find shelter. After all, nii-san told me monsters roam around here at night. He said they are merciless creatures, who kill their prey before eating them. If you're unlucky enough, they'll eat you while you're still alive. I sighed and started to run away from the darkest part of the forest. I could here bushes shake. Could it be them?! I started to run faster.
I could hear the steps getting faster as well. I jumped on top of a tree. I hid in the shadows. The creature turned out to be a wolf. It looked around. It seemed lost. It soon started to whine. I climbed down the tree and started to walk towards it. "Are you hurt?" I asked. It shook its head. "Do you...understand me?!" I asked. It nodded. I could feel my eyes widen. At least someone understands me. "Are you lost? Do you need help?" I asked. It nodded. It opened its mouth and said, "Can you help me find my family?" I just sat there. Did it...just speak?!
"What the FU--" I yelled but the wolf put its paw on my mouth. "Don't swear! And at such a young age!" yelled the wolf. I stood there in shock. Is this even possible?! "I know what you're thinking. How can a wolf talk?" said the wolf. I slowly nodded. "This is such a pain..." I slowly said. "I don't know. I was born with the ability to talk. My name is Kona," said the wolf. I looked up to the sky to find out it was night time.
"No..." I slowly said. I grabbed Kona's paw and started to run. I heard fast footsteps. It's them! They're real! I saw six red glowing eyes. Kona's eyes widened. She soon started to run on her own. "Get back here!~" said a voice. It was the same voice that said 'come here'. I soon had blue claw on my hands.
Kill it...
I looked at the monster. I rushed at it at full speed. I managed to slash its right arm. Its tail whipped me in the face causing me to fly backward. The monster rushed at me once more. Little by little, we kept breaking trees, mountains, and even a small village. In the end, I was the victor. "Kill me..." it said. I slowly raised my right hand. "Hey!" yelled someone. I looked behind me to find Kona. I soon felt a hand on my leg. I looked at the monster and it picked me up. I was hanging upside down. It started to laugh. "Poor little boy~ Say, do you want to become my dinner?" it asked.
"Bastard! Stupid son of a *****! Let me go!" I yelled. I stabbed it in the stomach but nothing happened. It started to laugh once more. "You're a tough one! Let us make a deal. I won't kill you or your little friend if you come with me," said the monster. I bit his hand causing it to let me go. There was blood on my chin so I licked it. What is this taste? Nii-san's blood didn't taste like this. The monster grabbed me by my hair. "I see you made your choice. It doesn't matter, I'm taking you with me," said the monster while it was putting its tail around my body.
"Let him go!" yelled Kona. The monster grabbed her by her neck. "I guess I'll take you with me as well," said the monster. After a while, we went into the darkest parts of the forest. After a few moments, fog started to appear. It kept getting thicker and thicker. I suddenly heard growls. Soon, more monsters started to appear. They started to walk towards me. I started to kick them away but they kept coming back. "Don't touch him! I'll kill you if you touch him!" yelled the monster. He soon let Kona and me go. We were in some sort of village. I stood up and started to look around.
I soon heard screaming. Kona rushed towards the scream and I followed. "Where are you going?" asked the monster. I looked at him and continued to run. It started to follow us. "What is this place?" I asked. The monster smiled. "This is where we eat. There are a few humans left," it said. I started to run full speed towards the screams. I soon turned into my black cat form and continued to run. I soon saw two adults and a child. They were surrounded by the monsters. I turned into my human form and rushed at the monsters. I summoned my claws and managed to cut one in half. "Get back! If you take one more step, I'll kill you!" I yelled. The monster that I cut in half didn't get up. "He's...dead. That means you're--!" said the monster but was cut off by a gunshot. I looked over to see one of my servamp siblings. Envy.
"Get on with it, Jeje," said a man with blonde hair. The servamp jumped in front of me and tried to grab my hair but I dogged it. I rushed towards the child and hugged him. I looked around only to find his parents getting eaten by the monsters. They were still alive. "Mama! Papa!" yelled the child in my arms. He started to cry. I soon got picked up by my neck. S***! I forgot he was still here! Luckily, I was still holding the child. The eve walked up to me. "Hey there, ol' sloth~" said the eve. He looked at me. "My name is Mikuni, and I'm the eve of the servamp of envy," said the man. I looked at him. "Let that kid go," said the monster that captured me. I looked at him.
Kona rushed at and I put the child on her back. "Get away from here!" I yelled while Kona nodded and ran. I bit envy's hand but he tightened his grip. Mikuni noticed and said, "Jeje, you're killing him! Stop that!~" The servamp listened to him and let go of my neck. I took a few moments to catch my breath. "Let's go. Mahiru is waiting for you," said Mikuni. Again with this kid. Who is he? I got picked up by the monster. It put me on it's back and ran away. It brought me to the village we destroyed. When we got there, there were a lot of humans. Around 102 humans is my guess.
The monster rushed towards a group of people and ate then whole. Blood splattered all over the place including me. This was a blood bath. All the people that were trying to help others were dead. Children, dead. Newborns, dead. Parents, dead. Everyone was dead. They were being eaten by this monster. I understand now...those things are the true monsters...
