Bouns Chapter: Sleepy Ash And Atsuko

Sleepy Ash's P.O.V

It's been a few years since I've been with the professor. He's such a pain...He doesn't even treat me like a human being. He treats me more like a prisoner who murdered a whole country. I've been locked up in this cell for my whole life. Sometimes I wonder, why am I here? Why am I not dead? "Wake up, sloth!" yelled a guard while banging the bars with a stick. This is giving me a headache..."Get. Up!" he yelled. I've had enough. I got off the upper bunk bed and walked towards him. I grabbed his neck. "I dare you to say that one more time..." I said while looking into his eyes. I could see the fear in his eyes. I let him go and walked away. He fell on his back. He soon ran away. "M-monster!" he yelled out. "Yeah yeah," I said. I climbed up to my bed and went to sleep. After a few moments, I heard banging again. "Wake up, No.1," said the voice. There is only one person in this world who calls me that...Kuan. "Why did you scare off the guard again?" he asked. I sighed. "Because I wanted to? What a pain..." I said while scratching my head. He opened my cell. "Let's go," he said. 

This again? "Like hell I would go," I said. He grabbed my wrist "Let's go! The faster we go, the sooner it'll end!" he said. "And then you'll become an even more pain in the a**," I said. He pulled me off the bed causing me to hit my head on the ground. "What the f***?! What was that for?!" I yelled. He sighed. "I'll be waiting," he said while walking away. I sighed and started to follow him. I soon got tackled. This again..."Why do you have to tackle me?! I could've just followed your directions?!" I yelled. They tied my hands together and put a muzzle on me. I stood up and continued to follow Kuan. When I got there, the bed was waiting. "Lay down and we'll strap you down," said Kuan. When he turned to look at me, he started to laugh. "What?" I asked. He pointed at my chin. "You got blood there! Not only that but, a little bit of lipstick," he said. Lipstick? Ah. When they tackled me, I fell on an employee. Maybe she had lipstick on. I walked towards the bed and laid down. I closed my eyes. This is such a pain...

When I opened my eyes, I was in my cell. My hands were handcuffed on the bed railings. That little b****. I sighed and went to sleep. After a while, I got hungry. I looked around to see if any guards would feed me. Guess not. I need blood...I managed a bite my wrist. After a while, Kuan came into my cell. "Good, you're awake. We've upgraded your right hand. We noticed it had a few malfunctions and we fixed it. Next, we upgraded your heart. I know you were immortal before but now, even the sun won't be able to turn you into your animal form. The reason we did that was because we only do missions during the night. That slows us down so you being able to fight in the day will help us a lot," explained Kuan. After explaining, he released my hands. "There. I'll call you when you ave a mission. In the meantime, do whatever you want," he said while he closed my cell. 

The next day

"Sleepy ash! Are you awake?" asked a little girl with blonde hair. I looked down at her.

'What a pain...Wait. I haven't seen her before. Could she be new here?' I thought. "Yeah..." I said. "Kuan told me to come to you. I'm new here! My name is Atsuko!" she said. I looked at her warm smile. "This is so troublesome I could just die..." I said while turning away. She climbed the bottom bunk just so she could reach my bed. "Kuan told me to tell you to show me around! Get up!" she whined while she shook me. I sat up putting her onto my lap. "Ok ok! Jeez..." I said. She laughed. Her eye color was bright green. "By the looks of it, you looked like you are 16 years old," she said.

'Not even close. I kinda don't wanna tell her my age but then again, she'll find out soon enough,' I thought.

"I'm 116 years old. You got the 16 right," I said. She smiled. "I'm 4 years old!" she said. 'So young,' I thought. We got out of my cell making our way to the main lobby. "Morning No.1!" said Lio. I yawned. "Morning..." I responded. The girl waved at her. I soon turned into a cat. "Who left the window opened?!" I yelled. Didn't Kuan said that this wouldn't happen anymore?  The girl picked me up and started to pat me. I can't complain because I like it. I soon started to purr. "Sloth-chan is so cute!" she said. 'So she knows my 'name'.' I thought. "Do you know about the servamps?" I asked. She nodded. I sighed. "I want to become your eve," she said. I looked at her. 'Does she know about the effects?' I thought. "This is such a pain..." I said. I took a deep breath. "My answer is no," I said. Her reaction was heartbreaking.
