Have You Heard The Rumors?...

Mahiru's P.O.V

I swear Tsubaki's subclasses are dead. I haven't heard any of them in hours! I should be more worried about Ash and Tsubaki. We haven't found anything! Not even a footprint! Anyways, Ryusei and Koyuki haven't found anything either. I was walking to school when Ryusei tackled me to the ground. "What the hell!" I shouted. "He he. Sorry Mahiru! I just wanted to surprise you!" he said. Koyuki finally caught up to us. "Ry...Ryusei...D-don't run off*huff* like that!*huff*!" said Koyuki while catching his breath. "That's your fault for being slow!" responded Ryusei. "Ryusei you have to stop doing that! You're going to end up killing Koyuki!" I said. They both laughed. "We should get going. School starts in 5 minutes!" said Koyuki. I checked the time and he was right. "We're going to be late! Let's hurry!" I said while running. "Wait up!" shouted Koyuki. 

We arrived just in time for our class. That was a close one! Our first class started and everything was fine. The rest of the day was normal. Until one question came up.

"Hey Mahiru, I've been wondering, where's your cat?" asked one of my classmates. I froze. 

What do I do?

What do I say? 

I can't even say his name.

How am I going to explain to them?

I don't want to lie to them.

"He got lost!" suddenly said Koyuki. It took me some time to process what he said. "Y-yeah!" I said. "Really?! How?" asked a girl in a worried tone. "Uh...we were walking to the market and then he suddenly disappeared! I looked for him but couldn't find anything," I said. "Do you want us to put posters up?!" said another girl. "D-don't worry! We're already working on it!" I said. "I want to help!" said a girl. "Me too!" "Same here!" "Me! I wanna see him again!"

I never knew many people cared for him. It brings a smile on my face. Once school finished, Ryusei and Koyuki are coming with me to go to Misono's house. I still can't believe they know about what's happening.What shocks the most is that they aren't scared at all! I mean they're vampires! V - A - M - P - I - R - E - S!  "Is something wrong Mahiru?" asked Ryusei. "No. I'm still shocked you two accepted thee fact that we're in a war with vampires," I responded. "You could've just told us. Even if we didn't believe you," said Koyuki. "It took me three days to explain everything to you!" I shouted. "True," said Ryusei. We soon arrived. Surprisingly, Tetsu and Hugh were here too. "Hey there Tetsu!" said Ryusei while running over to him.  For the past few days, Tetsu and Ryusei became good friends. Turns out they both like the exact same things.Food, drink, sport, etc. "Have you found anything?" asked Koyuki. Misono shook his head. "Nothing. We've searched everywhere but found nothing. We even searched the forest but couldn't find anything," responded Misono. "We have a problem. Kids in my school are asking for him and it's getting hard to keep it a secret!" I said. "Yeah. We came up with the story of how Mahiru and Kuro went shopping but Kuro suddenly got lost," said Koyuki. "That's a believable story," said Tetsu. We nodded. 

"We asked people around if they had seen a man with light blue hair and a man with black hair. They all said they didn't see them," said Lily. "I see. I'll go on a walk. Maybe I can find something," I said while standing up. Everyone waved goodbye and I left. While I was walking I heard something interesting.

"Have you heard the rumors?"
