Tracking Them Down

Hyde's P.O.V

"W-what do you mean?" asked Mahiru. Lily, Hugh, and I looked at each other. "We servamps have found a way to save sloth and gluttony. But for that to happen, our eves have to stay away from us as far as possible. I'm going to go tell the other eves right now," said Hugh as he left. Mahiru was confused. "A way to save Ash and Tsubaki?" he asked. "Just...go with the other eves. As the child said, he'll explain everything," I said. "Who? Do you mean Hugh?" asked Mahiru. "Mahiru-Kun, Hugh is about to start. Please make your way," said Lily. He nodded and left. "Wanna smoke?" I asked. Lily shook his head. "Not here. The kiddies will see," he said. I nodded. "Should...we try and track down nii-san and Tsubaki right now?" I asked. "Let's go ask him. He'll be the one giving us the instructions," said Lily while standing up. I followed. "Hey, child, do we start tracking them?" I asked. He nodded. "B****," I whispered. We left the mansion.

Mahiru's P.O.V

"Anyways, all of you will not make contact with any of the servamps until we finish," he said. I stood up. "Why?! I already told my friends to look for Ash and Tsubaki! Can they get near them?!" I yelled. Hugh nodded. "Since we didn't share a lot of information with them, they're safe," said Hugh. I sighed in relief. "How are you planning to save them?" asked Misono. "That's none of your concern," responded Hugh. " It is our concern!" I yelled. So far, Tetsu is the only one who hasn't said anything. "So, do I go back to the hot springs without you?" asked Tetsu. He finally talked! Hugh nodded. " I would say break our contracts but that'll cause us to forget our bond with you," said Hugh. "One last thing, both greed, and lust will be tracking sleepy ash and Tsubaki down," said Hugh before he left. 

Lily's P.O.V      

We were currently looking through Mahiru's apartment for any clues. "Why are we looking here?" asked Hyde. I sighed. "You're helpless...We're looking here for any clues! If we can't find anything, I guess we'll go to Tsubaki's base," I said. Hyde nodded. We continued to search but nothing. "Hey! Hyde! I found something!" I yelled. He came running. "What is it?" he asked. I picked up a feather. "A...feather?" said Hyde. I gave the feather to him. "Tch. I guess it's worth something," he said as he put it away. We soon decided it was time to go to Tsubaki's base. "Get your weapon ready. We don't know if they'll attack us," I said. We soon arrived. I took a deep breath hoping that they're not here. I opened the door. Once I entered, there was silence. It felt empty. Lifeless. "Hello?" I said. No response. I looked at Hyde. He shrugged. We continued walking. We soon found Tsubaki's subclasses. They seemed...depressed. It pained me. "Why are you here?" asked Belkia. He didn't seem his usual self. "We're here to see if we can find any clues about nii-san and Tsubaki's location," said Hyde. "There's nothing. We already checked," said Otogiri. I was speechless. 

They care for Tsubaki...and Tsubaki cares for them...

"Er...if you want...do you want us to help you look for Tsubaki? I mean, we're already looking for him," I said. All of them looked at us in shock. "You? Helping us? But why? We're your enemies! We kidnapped the servamp of sloth!" yelled Shamrock. I looked at Hyde and he nodded. "We know that. But hear us out. We're both looking for someone who went missing. Why not join forces this one time?" explained Hyde. There was silence. "We...don't know..." said Belkia. "You're in pain just like us. Let's just forget our differences this one time," I said. There was silence once more. "Fine. We'll work with you. As long as we get to see Tsubaki again," said Higan. All of the subclasses nodded. "Well then, let's start searching," I said while walking out of the building.

Hyde's P.O.V

After we left the building, we ran into the forest. "Since almost everything happened in the same forest I guess it makes sense we search here," I said while the others nodded. We split up into teams. I forgot who got who but I got Higan. "Old fart..." I whispered. "Now now. I know you hate me but you'll have to deal with it," said the old fart. I sighed. After a while, we heard talking. 

"I swear that bastard is going to be the death of me..." said a voice. "You're not the only one. This uniform isn't my style," said another voice.

 I recognize those voices..."Nii-san!" I whisper yell. "Then that means Tsubaki is here too!" Higan whisper yells. "I feel like we're being watched," said Tsubaki. "Too troublesome to deal with it..." said nii-san. "How stupid is the 1st servamp?" whispered Higan. "Smarter than you think but stupider than you hope," I said. He was confused. "So...are we gonna talk about her?" asked Tsubaki. Nii-san just stood there. "No. She's scary!" he said. Who's scary? "Did Tsubaki find a girlfriend?" whispered Higan. "In your dreams," I whispered back. Nii-san sat on the ground while Tsubaki sat on some rocks. They looked up to the sky. "How long has it been since we were outside?" asked Tsubaki. Nii-san shrugged. "We only go outside when we do missions. Why?" asked Tsubaki. Suddenly, Kuan appeared. "There you are! I thought we lost you!" he said. Nii-san and Tsubaki looked pissed. "I'll go get the others. Stay here," said Higan while he left. 

F*** you, Higan. I continued to listen.   

"What do you want now?" said nii-san. Tsubaki turned into his fox form. "The girl wants to be with both of you. She won't shut up unless both of you hang out with her," said Kuan. A girl? 

"This is going to be a real pain..." said nii-san. They disappeared. "Huh?" I said. 

Lily's P.O.V 

After Higan told us what he saw, all of us ran to Hyde's location. When we got there, there was nothing but Hyde. "Where are they?" asked Higan. After a whole explanation, we were all confused. "I see. We should back to the others," I said. They all nodded. When we arrived, we told everyone what we found, saw, and heard. "Why did you decide to look in the forest?" asked Hugh. "How stupid can you be?! Every single event has happened in the same f***ing forest!" yelled Hyde. "He has a point," said Belkia. I nodded. "I still don't trust you, subclasses. I feel like your using this alliance to your advantage," said Misono. "Listen. Do you seriously think we joined forces just to learn about your weaknesses? Hell Nah. We only agreed because we need Tsubaki back! He's like a father to us!" yelled Belkia. "Yeah. Why else do you think he turned us into his subclasses? He gave us a second chance to live," said Higan. "He's using you!" yelled Hugh. "No, he isn't!" yelled Shamrock. I looked at Sakuya and Mahiru. They seemed to be getting along. "You're finally here, s*** rat!" yelled Licht. "All of you! Please be quiet!" I yelled. They all looked at me. "What's wrong Lily?" asked Mahiru. I smiled. "My kiddos are sleeping so I'm asking if you can keep the noise down," I asked politely. All of them nodded. 

"You see? I care for my subclasses so who's to say Tsubaki does the same thing?" I said. All of Tsubaki's subclasses nodded. 

Belkia's P.O.V   

"Tsutsu cares for us!" I yelled. "Shhhh," said the perv. Right. "Follow me. I'll show you to your rooms," said the perv. All of Tsutsu's subclasses followed him. After a while, we arrived. "Here. Please make yourself constable," he said. "Why are you being nice to us? Are you planning to attack us?" asked Otogiri. I nodded. He shook his head. "You've been suffering like us," he said while he walked away.  

Before he closed the door, he looked at us. "You truly are family to Tsubaki," he said as he closed the door.
