Khushi and Riddhima came downstairs and they saw Riddhima's family sitting in the dining hall "you didn't told me that you brought your family along!" Khushi nagged Riddhima "well I thought nek kham mein dheeri kis baat ki" she grinned at Khushi while massaging her arm where Khushi landed a light smack.

Riddhima's father Arjun Singh Raizada owner of AR Constructions was animatedly discussing something with his best friend Shashi Gupta, while his wife Aradhana Singh Raizada was chatting freely with her best friend Garima Gupta and Devyani Singh Raizada as well as Riddhima's lovely and super cute Dadi, was sharing her worries to Buaji. The Raizadas and the Guptas were friends since ages. Arjun and Shashi were college friends, not just friends but best friends. Both friends in all these years helped each other, no matter if the help was related to their business or their families, they never let each other down. Their kids had grown up together. Khushi and Riddhima having the same age, had grown up together sharing their everything. They had attended the same school, the same college and not to forget the same University, except for the courses. The girls are inseparable, more like sisters then best friends. If Khushi and Riddhima were almost like sisters, the same doesn't go with Payal and Arnav, because Arnav was one year older then Payal and being a boy, he had always been reserved and according to someone maybe a little too much...

Khushi came to Devyani and hugged her tightly "Dadi I missed you so much, how are you?"

"I missed you too Bitiya" Devyani said kissing Khushi's forehead. Devyani and Khushi were really close to each other, since Riddhima and her were best friends and used to spend most of their time together at Khushi's house and Riddhima always forced her Dadi to accompany her. On the other end if Khushi was close to Devyani so was Riddhima with the entire Gupta family, she was just like a member of their family.

"How are you, aunty?" Khushi greeted Aradhana, who cupping her face replied "fine and now that you are here even more" and with that she kissed her forehead. Aradhana since few years had developed a very peculiar interest in Khushi, but she was not ready to disclose it yet.

All were chatting when the door ball rang and a very excited Dhruv run to open the door screaming "grandpa is here" and as soon as he opened the door, he was lifted in his grandfather's arms, Rishabh Singhania, a very caring and lovely man, looking at him no one would say that he owns a chain of restaurants and cafes. The Singhanias has moved from Mumbai to Delhi ten years ago and since then their younger son Armaan and Khushi are close friends. Being the both of them very lighthearted and happy go lucky people they hitched from day one of college.

"Did you miss me?" Dhruv inquired pouting cutely.

"Of course, we did" Radhika Singhania replied pulling her grandson's cheeks.

They moved to the dining room and everyone exchanged greetings and sat down. Khushi was animatedly chatting when she felt a tap on her shoulder, and she turned backwards.

"Seems like you forgot your best friend" a young boy said crossing his arms before his chest

"Well!" Khushi said getting up "who told you that we are best friends" she knitted her eyebrows and started moving toward the man

"Oh! That hurts" the man said making a sad face and putting his right hand on his heart.

"Such a melodramatic Jiju" Khushi said laughing at his brother-in-law's antics and with that she side hugged him.
