Khushi was in the kitchen, today it was supposed to be her first rasoi "I will thank Jiji for teaching me" she appreciated her sister's efforts to patiently guide her during her cooking experiments, that not always were successful. Khushi was a good cook, but let's say in western cuisine more, when after the pooja, Dadi had asked her to make something sweet, she immediately opted for the Kheer, it was easy to make at least for her.

"Aman was right, he's a tough nut?" she thought while stirring the kheer. After this morning's argument, Arnav went for a jogging session, this is what she had assumed seeing him coming back in his tracksuit and with a sweaty forehead.

They had crossed each other's path while she was going to the mandir, for the morning aarti and he had gracefully ignored her. That had hurt her. She was pretty sure that he was not going to bring the papers, since he will never hurt his family than wasn't him who said that he did it for his Dadi? But she had to admit that when he ignored her it had made her insecure.

What if he really? No, it can't be, he loves Dadi...then

"Khushi beta" Aradhana interrupted her chain of thoughts peeping inside the kitchen
"Ji" she replied absentmindedly.
"Make some sugar free"
She simply nodded and Aradhana left from there smiling at her "concentrate Khushi" she said to herself "we'll see the Raizada later" she gave herself courage and put her full attention on the task in her hands.

The long run had helped to clear his mind, he would be damned if he was not going to give a chance to this marriage, especially knowing that she is definitely different from other girls, form her, she is determinate and knows how to fight for what she wants, and the cherry on top was that she always says what she thinks without beating the bush around. Even if he wouldn't admit openly, but he kind off appreciated the way she stood for herself, asking for the divorce right away, It did irritated him to the core, but then seeing it from her point of view, she had all the rights to do so. Arnav after a long shower, dressed in his formals, was sitting in the study, pretending to be on some international conference call, yeah at 10am in the morning, who he was trying to fool... he was continuously ringing up his personal assistant, poor soul. When the actual effect was that he doesn't know how to face her? Especially after assuming, that she and the parrot shared something, he was thankful that she hadn't realized his outburst's meaning and hadn't dragged the matter further.

"why I feel like you are avoiding her" Aman broke his chain of thoughts, he had saw the scene that took place before the pooja.

"Why would I avoid my wife?" stressing on the word my; turning to his friend, who was standing on the threshold of the room.

"already possessive we are" Aman teased

"done?" with a missed off expression

"what are you doing?" saying so Aman come inside the room and Arnav pressed the button to call his PA again

"ASR you forgot something?" Matthew asked since this was the tenth time that his boss had woken him up to ask futile questions, he had started wondering if the ASR was going under some mental pressures, his sharp brain wasn't working like before

"hey Matthew, how are you?" Aman asked gently seeing that the poor man's status.

"Hi Aman"
