I recognize this scene. Us walking down the stairs, my hand in his, being pulled along. The kids surrounding us, though mostly him.

And just like back then, we carefully move to the couch, where he refuses to let go of my hand, despite us sitting so close to eachother.

But this time, I won't make any mistakes. Even if I do, I'll talk about them. I'll stop running.

'Ah, seems like you've had a good talk,' Akiteru remarks. 'It was about time.'

Hana still seems a bit stressed, standing in front of me, anxiously waiting for what we have to say.

'Do you need a hug?' I whisper to her. She nods, and I slip my hand out of Tsukishima's to pick her up.

'Thank you. You made us able to talk to eachother. Now, I never want you to worry about it again, because it wasn't your fault, okay? Promise?' I put out my pinky to her.

She grabs it, nodding again while curling up against my chest. I never knew she felt so guilty about it.

'I was very sad seeing Kei so angry and unhappy,' the girl says, a little too loud, as it has now drawn the attention of the two eldest Tsukishima's as well as Nazuka

'Well, you really are grumpy. I have yet to see you happy, even though I've known you for two years,' Nazuka laughs when she sees Tsukishima's confused face.

'I can't say that you're not often annoyed,' I agree, also laughing a little 'unless you've changed a lot, but from what I've heard now, it seems like you didn't.'

Tsukishima frowns. 'You're siding with them now?'

'There's no siding over facts, Kei,' Akiteru joins in. 'You've been having the worst mood for the last two years.'

I feel Hana's insecurity as she's still sitting on my lap. 'I'm fine with you only showing your smile to me, though,' I tell him.

'Where did your sense of shame go, Yamaguchi? Seriously,' he sighs, but I notice the change of colour in his face.

'Where did your sense of shame come from? You were the one saying embarrassing things and showing the world everything two years ago,' I answer.

'Don't fight,' Hana says softly, clutching my shirt. 'I don't want you to go again.'

'I'll never leave you again, okay? I promise you, no matter what happens between me and your brother. Will you be my sister from now on?' I ask, my heart hurting for the girl who has already lost three parents.

She doesn't answer, instead burying her face in my shirt, which I take as a yes. With a smile, I rub my hand on her back, hopefully calming her down.

'Me too, me too!' Amare runs up to me, Hope following close behind him. 'I want to be your brother!'

'Of course,' I smile, 'I'd gladly be your brother, too. Of the both of you, I mean.'

The twins happily take a spot on my lap as well, and I now end up with a girl against my chest and both of my legs weighed down by the two five-year-olds.

As if this wasn't enough already, Tsukishima decides to join, putting his head on my shoulder and taking back my hand in his. A bit overwhelmed, I'm now scared to move, afraid that I'll accidently push any of them off.

'Don't crush the poor guy,' Akiteru chuckles, 'I'm sure there's still a lot he wants to talk about before he's unable to breathe.'

'I'd like to know what happened in the time I haven't seen you,' I admit, 'because suddenly having a kid and a fiancée wasn't something I expected to happen to you in such a short time.'
