"Richard Tozier." Beverly repeated solemnly, her eyes looking numbly down into her lap.

Mike looked up at her apologetically, but his amber eyes showed dissatisfaction and hunger for more knowledge.
"Can I...," He paused, self conscious in the ominous silence, "Can I ask him another question?"

Beverly slowly tilted her head up to look at Eddie. He hadn't said a word.

The small boy gulped and pulled the sleeves of his jumper over his hands to try and hide their nervous trembling.
"I-I," he stuttered, but he couldn't find any words.
So many emotions where hitting him at once: confusion, fear, awe.
They were interacting with a ghost. This was incredible, proof that their is life after death... It also meant that Eddie wasn't crazy. Eddie had been right about the ghost the whole time. This could be his chance at redemption.
However, with all this triumphant ness came a cold and ugly truth. Eddie was being haunted. Their were entities out their beyond their control... And the question that needled away at Eddie with painful anxiety the most.
"I- I want to ask it a question."

Mike tilted his head slightly, surprised by Eddie's answer. He glanced over at Beverly who seemed as confused as he did before looking back at Eddie and nodding.

Eddie took a deep breath and closed his eyes,
"Richard," he spoke softly, "Do you want to hurt us?"

Mike's eyes widened at the question and Beverly swallowed nervously. They all looked down as the pointer piece began to slowly drag itself across the board once more. Each of them dreading the answer they might get.

It felt as if the piece was moving more painfully slowly then ever as the three teenagers watched with numbing dread.

It finally stopped.

"No," Beverly sighed with relief, reading the carving through the glass window on the pointer, "Thank God."

The three of them looked up at each other with faint smiles.

Suddenly the piece began to move again, this time more quickly.

"What the f-," Mike exclaimed alerted as the piece shifted to the other side of the board.

"Holy shit." Eddie whispered breathlessly. His hands trembling, "Why has it moved to 'yes'? Mike why the fuck has it moved to 'yes'?"

Mike opened his mouth but no words came out.

Eddie continued to ramble panicked,
"What- What does this mean he is going to hurt us and he's just fucking with us. Or he's going to hurt some of us but not all of us, or-,"

"Eddie can you shut up!" Beverly intercepted, "You were right this was a stupid idea."

Eddie had to put his hand over his mouth to stop himself from vomiting up any more stressed preaching.

"I think we should stop now Mike. We had our fun and we got more than what we bargained for... I never really believed this stuff anyway, I can't take this please!" Beverly whined, taking her fingers off the pointer and shaking Mike's arm.

"Okay, okay good idea," He murmured, still awestruck. He turned around and began to blow out the candles.

That's when a massive slam echoed through the house.

"What the fuck?!" Eddie screeched, "He's going to fucking kill us! Richard is going to kill us!"

The three of them began to panic, desperately reaching for candles and screeching as their trembling hands got scorched by the hot wax.

"WHAT THE HELL IS GOING ON IN HERE?!"

The three teenagers turned in horror as Eddie's bedroom door whipped open with a satisfying slam.
