"Who the fuck is he?" Richie asked, staring at the boy in the doorway.

Eddie, still hidden by Richie's side peaked out from behind his waist, "He um... he can't see us, can he?"

Richie turned around and looked down at him, raising an eyebrow.

"Never mind, of course he can't." Eddie sighed, answering his own question. He stepped out from his hiding place and stood with his side against Richie's.

They watched as the boy in the doorway began to walk towards them. His honey brown eyes darted around the room. Taking in all of Eddie's left over belongings.
He turned back around and stuck his head out of the door and shouted, "MUM! There's another bedroom!"

Eddie turned and looked up at Richie, "What if he moves into this room. Won't that be... you know, awkward?"

Richie chuckled slightly, his freckled cheeks blushing a light pink, "It wasn't awkward for me, I rather enjoyed watching you Eds."

Eddie looked away for a second until what Richie had said sunk in, "Wait.. you saw everything!? Did you see me getting changed!?"

Richie burst out cackling. Thank God this other boy couldn't hear them.

"Richie!" Eddie whined, his own cheeks now a hot red.

Meanwhile, the boy in the doorway began to walk around the room, picking up the discarded trinkets on Eddie's old desk and examining the line of books on his shelf.

He was completely oblivious to Eddie and Richie's squabbling.

"Eddie I swear, I didn't look at you. I let you have your privacy,"

"Urgh fine! I believe you. Thank you Chee."

"However... I may not have given you your privacy when you were dancing around and singing to your playlist,"

"Richie! Are you joking? Shut up,"

The boy in the baby blue shirt was about to leave, his parents would probably need a hand with the boxes.
As he turned around something caught his eye.
The musty, untouched duvet, that was half on the bed and half trailing on the floor, had a strange bump under it.
Curiously, the boy walked over to it, reaching for the corner of the duvet.
He peeled it back. Revealing what was underneath it.

"Holy shit," Eddie whispered, looking past Richie.

"Eddie I swear it wasn't that embarrassing! You have a pretty good taste in music,"

"No not that," Eddie interrupted, grabbing Richie's shoulder and turning him round to face the boy, "THAT,"

The boy stood over nothing other than the Ouija board.

"What the heck? I thought that had long gone," Eddie whispered breathlessly.

"I guess not. This could be good. Imagine if he tries it,"

The boy crouched down to examine it. Awe in his eyes.
Suddenly a voice from downstairs echoed through the building, "Stan! Come help me and your dad!"

The boy looked up in alarm, startled he stuffed the Ouija board under Eddie's bed. He jumped to his feet and disappeared the way in which he entered.

"Stan huh?" Richie mused, repeating the boys name, "He's a cutie."

"What!?" Eddie spat suddenly, smacking Richie's arm.
