I managed to get to my room, my headache intensified. I need to lay down but, before I could even close the door I saw that the doors to the balcony were open. "What the?" I keeps closer to them. When I looked I saw a sight I never thought I would see. Cedany and Gabriel were in the garden, they were walking side by side until Gabriel grabbed my sister and kissed her. What is with these boys? She pulled back but, then kissed him back.
I went back inside and closed the doors, I don't even know how they were opened. I started undressing but, right when I took off my mask Sage barged in, "guess what," she said giddy. "Shea has a thing for all my brothers and Serpentine" she gleefully smiling. "And that's good why?" I asked sitting on my bed yawning. "Maybe she can take serpentine of my hands" she said sitting down on the bed with me. "SAGE!" Screeches the queen. "Ugh! What now?!" She said leaving me. I could finally sleep, yet I couldn't sleep all I could think about was Nik and that kiss, I wanted to hate it but I couldn't. I needed to forget about it but, I'm not sure I want to.
The next morning...
The queen had organized a luncheon party for the court today as another meet and greet from Princess Shea. I rose by myself no sisters to antagonize me, sadly. I changed into a baby blue dress that was loose on me. My mask was just a headband that had cloth that veiled over my face except for a slit that went all the way through exposing my green eyes. I exited my room when I was greeted by three servants. They smiled widely when they handed me an envelope. I was about to ask them who it was from but they were gone before I could let my words escape.
I went back to my room and grabbed the letter opener, he letter read...

Who would send me this? And why me? What did I do? Questions kept filling my brain nonstop. I went to the side of my bed and I folded the paper and hid it between my sheets. I had to show Cedany and Rose, that is if they'll talk to me.
I held back very sensitive information, information that they should have known to protect themselves, I don't know what I was thinking.
I couldn't let my guilt stop me, I fled my room and headed for the field that the luncheon party will be.
The field was decorated with white roases and petals. stations of fun activites, I scanned the crowd and found Shea in a purple dress witjh a purple corset that was on the outside of her dress. Her hair was in a weird and stuck up fashion. She was flirting with Nik. I kept scanning the crowd until I found Cedany and Rose, they stood by each other as Gabriel talked to his father in a private corner tent. I walked up to them hoping they wont resent me.
"Mary" said Rose coming up to me. "I got a letter..." she got one too? "Wait, what did it say?" I asked grabbing her arm worried what the truth may be. "It said dont trust anyone" her's wasn't a threat. "Someone is trying to hurt us, and then this person is trying to help us" she said still worried. "What about Ced?" i asked looking at her then Cedany. "I told her but, she didn't get a note" said Rose looking at Cedany, who still was keeping her eyes on the tent. "I got a letter too" I admitted. "What did it say?" She questioned. "It said for us to leave or they will hurt us" I said sighing. "It was a threat" she said not so suprised.
I felt a tap on my shoulder and when i turned around I saw Sage walking with Shea who was on Nik's arm. "Princess Shea I would like you to meet my ladies in waiting, Lady Rose and Lady Mary my other lady, Lady Cedany is away at the moment" said Sage introducing us to the bitch in purple. "Princess Shea" we said in unison as we curtsied to her. "Ladies" she said with a smug yet unimpressed face, "Why do you wear those masks?" she asked likew everyone else. Rose answered "Private reasonings" she said sweetly, even though I knew she hated her.
Before the princess could come up with a remark Cedany came up and dragged us away.
