I wasn't allowed to sleep because I heard screaming from another room. I shot up and opened the door, everyone was at the party so not a single soul but me heard the cry. I ran in its direction. I ran out to a balcony, there was nothing there, I was met with 7 other servants and a nobleman. "You heard the cry too?" He asked me. "Yes, but where?" I asked looking around. Everyone shrugged. We all headed back inside. Yet, when we were about to close the doors we heard a strong thud from behind. And the gruesome sight of the king's Mistresses dead corpse stuck in our minds.
I ran out and saw the king with blood in his face looking over, then beamish when he saw me looking. "What happened?" A servant questioned. "The King did this" I said sternly. "He killed her?" Questioned the nobleman. I nodded. The only thought that invaded my mind now was, I could you use this to force his hand in a blessing. Cedany and her child will be protected.
Three days later...
"What do you want?" He said angered and stomped his way to sit on his thrown. He had cleared the room for our conversation. "I want you to bless Gabriel's and Cedany's wedding" I said. "That's it" he said confused. "Yes that's all I want" I had a plain expression on to not expose my nervousness.
"That's not all I want" said the Nobleman who had witnessed entering the room. "Nobleman Vice" said the king annoyed and angry. "At the funeral of your mistress I want you to tell everyone there that the killer was Nobleman Morris" he said coming to my side. "Vice..." Began the king. "That is my price" he said sternly. "What do you have against Morris?" I questioned. "That is private information, just know that is my business and I want it done" he said then strutted out of her like he owned the place.
"Morris is my best friend" said the king in shock and confusion. "New deal, I'll help you get rid of him if you throw Shea on the next ship out of Osaria. Or give my father a larger sum of money, and you must still bless the marriage" I said sparking a light in his eye. "Deal, I'll give your father a higher pension" he said. I kind of hoped he would agree to Shea. But, I'll take what I can get.
Now I must plan a way to kill a man or get him out of Osaria for good. While dealing with my sisters, Sage and her husband, and Nik with Shea.
