"Fergus?" I asked quietly when we got to a place that wasn't as out in the open, "What the hell are you doing here?"
"What else would I be doing here?" He asked, "I am working."
"Working? Working how? How is this working?" I asked, motioning around, "You're the king of hell, in a church! Doesn't that not seem right to you?"
"I'd keep it down if I were you, love." He told me.
"He's right," Jack told me, and I looked at him slightly as he pointed to the door. More people were coming in for the next service. I breathed out slightly heavily.
"Now," Fergus started again and we looked at him, "I'm staying late to do a little snooping, but of course I can't exactly do much due to my, as Cas put it, being the king of hell in a church." I crossed my arms, "So, what do you say to us working together to reach the same goal? I want to stop whoever keeps locking my black eyed boys away, you want to find them as well, so, what do you say?"
I looked at the others and they looked worried, and pissed. Guy was in the middle of the two. I breathed out and looked back to Fergus.
"Fine," I sighed, "What's the plan?"
"Excellent," He smiled at us, "Figure out who'll come back here over night, then, the rest of you go to McCormick's home."
"Why?" Jack asked.
"Because, Moose, I have a feeling he may be connected to all of this. After all, his nose is a little too clean, don't you think?" He looked over and we looked as well to McCormick. He was talking to a family, smiling.
"He's a ki," We looked back and Fergus was gone. I sighed heavily and shook my head. I looked to the others.
"Back to the motel?" Guy asked, and I nodded slightly.
"Do you really think we can trust him?" Jack asked as he started getting dressed into his normal clothes.
"No, but I'm guessing if we don't help him, there's gonna be hell to even try and work this case." I said, fixing my flannel as I walked out of the bathroom. Vincent was pulling on his shoe and Guy was playing with a rubber band.
"Who's going to the house and who's going back to the church?" Vincent asked, looking at us from tying his shoe.
"I don't know," I sighed slightly, "I'll go to the church, anyone up to go with?"
"Yeah," Jack nodded, and I nodded as well.
"Then that leaves you two to the Preacher's house." I said, getting my boots and starting to pull them on.
"I'll be back," Guy said, getting up, and we looked at him. He got his shoes back on and smiled at us slightly.
"Where you going, kiddo?" I asked.
"I'm gonna go to the church for a bit." He said, and I nodded.
"Be back before 7." I told him, and he nodded, leaving.
"I wonder what he's up to." Vincent said.
I nodded slightly and looked back at them, "So, overall plan is you and Guy go and check out what the Father is up to and Jack and I will go to the church to find whatever Fergus is looking for and make sure he doesn't get it."
Jack nodded, "What exactly are we gonna do if we don't know what Fergus is after?"
"We're just gonna have to get it out of him somehow." I shrugged slightly.
"Fun," Vincent nodded and got up, going to the bathroom and shutting the door behind him.
I looked at Jack and he smiled at me. I smiled back and he kissed my cheek. I could tell it was getting to that point in the relationship, which I wasn't mad about. I pat his bottom slightly and he jumped again, looking at me.
