"So, let me get this straight," Vincent paced slightly after the doctors went to run some tests, "You two swear to have no more secrets, and we tell each other everything, and then you're keeping a relationship secret for how long now?" He stopped and looked at us.
"Almost two months." Jack said, itching the back of his head.
"And how long were you planning to keep it from us, exactly?" He crossed his arms.
I breathed heavily, "I don't know," I shrugged, then scoffed, "I don't think we kept it up around you guys very good either way."
He nodded slightly, "Doesn't change the fact you didn't keep up the deal we all made."
"Not like you did any better, triple agent-ing with hell and Lilith," Jack pointed out.
Vincent just nodded again, "I just," He breathed out through his nose slightly, "You're explaining this when we get back to the bunker."
Guy came in with food and smiled at me. I smiled back and he pushed the table in front of me, setting the food down.
"Thank you." I told him, then gave him a hug.
He hugged me back happily, "You're welcome." He let me go and sat at the end of the bed. I started eating and god it felt good to be eating.
"Mm," I kept eating, "I'll tell you one thing." I kept eating, "I am looking forward to getting the hell out of here and back on the road." I looked at them while poking at the food, "How's my baby? Not too hurt?"
"Uh," Jack rubbed his neck, "You can decide that for yourself when you see it."
"That's never a good sign, what does it look like?" I stopped eating slowly.
"Pretty bad." He sighed.
"Yeah, callin' a crushed in roof, busted pipes and broken engine 'pretty bad'." Vincent scoffed.
"Then we need to get home, go get the doctors so we can get me checked out." I started finishing my meal.
"Alright, you're awake buddy!" The kid with curly hair started walking in with a doctor, "That's awesome!"
"Who the fuck are you?" Vincent asked, and the kid looked at him.
"Oh, I'm the aid, R. Harley," She held out her hand, "I go by Crawl, I'm working a few hours of public service." She put her hand down slowly when Vincent and the rest of us just stared at her, "Uh, I was monitoring her while she was in a coma." He pointed at me slightly.
We watched as a doctor came in behind her.
"Ms. Harley has to do public service due to a charge of public indecency." She said.
"Hey, it's like I say man, if someone chases you out of your dorm with a knife and you're wearing only your underwear to run away, it's excusable." She shrugged slightly, "But hey I'm not the court, buddy." I smirked slightly.
"I am not your buddy." She told her, and looked at the rest of us, "It seems that everything checked out relatively well, your leg wasn't broken, more of just popped out of place in a terrible way, and your wrist will have to stay in a brace for the next week or so."
"Alright, awesome, sounds like a win to me." I chuckled slightly, "When can I get back on my feet there, doc?"
"That's where a small problem comes in." She said, and we all looked at her, "There is a problem with your liver."
"My liver?" I asked, "I'm sure it can't be too bad, what is it? Some kind of pill I have to take?"
"There was deterioration found." She told us, "We don't know where it came from, but there are some questions that could be the answer to why."
