We've been floating in space now for about a week with nothing new. Finn hasn't found anything so far. He's tried to explain the theories to me but I don't understand one word of his nerd talk. I just nod and hopefully he gets the message that I didn't understand anything and would just stop talking completely.

I've found a safe haven for myself. I found it while walking around. It was towards the left side of the jet. It was a huge glass window where I could look out into space. I would spend most of my days standing there and admiring the empty void we call space, it may be empty but it has a weird calmness to it. When I die, I would like space to be the last image I see before I pass on.

The journey hasn't been a complete bore I suppose. The first one was a deep marine blue color, no splotches of land in sight. I've been told stories as a child that in that specific planet reside the merfolk. I never knew if they were just stories or the real deal. I wouldn't like to find out either way, I hear they aren't very friendly to any outsiders.

The second planet was much smaller then the first. It had brightly colored rings, like Saturn, but it had seven of them which I thought was fascinating and beautiful. I wonder what type of creatures lived on that planet.

The more I stand and take in space, the faster I lose track of time, I've lost track of how long I've been sitting here on my own just looking out to see what other planets I could spot. A loud beeping sound went off once then Finn's voice was heard through the speakers. "Guys come to the main room. I found something." a single beep followed before the speakers turned off.

I sighed, reluctantly walking away from the glass and made my way slowly to the main room. The others were already there when I had arrived, they were  stood around a table that Finn was hunched over. Sometimes I wonder if this guy is even human, he can sit behind a screen all day, no food, no water, no movement, like a damn robot.

"What did you find?" I asked as I walked up to stand behind him.

"Finn and I started to just hit random buttons again since the computers were acting up and we found something." explained Anna.

"So you found him?"

"We found 2 of him." said Finn. I raised a brow as I looked over his shoulder at the holographic table that displayed two faces. One of them was young guy no older then 19, his name was Trent Wordsworth. His profile was pulled up next to his picture i skimmed it and moved on to the next.

The other picture was one of a really old man with grey hair and wrinkly skin. It said he was about a few 70 years old, he used to work in a mine for about 4 years before he retired and went off the grid.

"And who do you think is the one we're looking for?" I looked over everyone who was in the room as they looked down at the table.

"It's got to be the young one." all heads turned to Kent, silently asking him for an explanation. "It makes sense. They would send us to find someone young that could possibly know all that we need too. And besides what is that 70 year old man going to help us with? He looks like he'll collapse and have a stroke if we lay a finger on him."

I wasn't convinced, Kent may have made some valid points, but he couldn't back them up all the way. Looking around the room no one seemed to have been convinced either. "Why not the old man? He's so old that he could have more experience, and knowledge about our next move, he can give us some insight on what we're up against." reasoned Anna. Her statement seemed valid enough.

I looked at the profiles again examining each carefully. The two males were located on the same planet but different sections. One lived in the slums while the other was living their best life in the rich lands. Although it seemed like a simple choice to make, we couldn't make any risks, the fall out wont be pretty.
