changbin finally made it to the pristine school he had chosen for his son however it was the first time even being near it. if it wasn't for the principal that was outside overseeing some construction he would've had to call minho for help.

"dad!?"

joonsu couldn't believe it when he heard he was being picked up because usually minho would plan it out behind changbin and hyunjins back and would go to the movie theater or to jisungs job.

changbin smiled and opened his arms out when he saw joonsu running up to him.

"you have a good day mr.seo." the principal said as he watched the scene before him.

"daddy you're here!" joonsu said playing with changbins ears. "of course i'm here."

joonsu gave his dad the brightest smile that made changbin realize just how much he had pushed aside his responsibility as a father.

"what do you want for dinner?" changbin asked once they where in the car.

"i want whatever lixie makes."

changbin sighed and looked at the mirror seeing how joonsu was happily staring out the window watching the busy city streets. "joonie i told you already that felix can't make it today he has an emergency."

"then can we call uncle lino and jisung?" joonsu asked hoping they didn't have an emergency as well.

changbin nodded since usually that's what would happen either they would call minho or seungmin when it came to dinner.

once they got home joonsu skipped to his room to say hello to his appa and grandpa. changbin then helped him feed and clean sammie.

"daddy are you sure lixie can't come today?" joonsu asked tugging at changbins sleeves of his shirt. changbin gave him a small smile and kneeled down to his son hight.

"i don't think he can make it today buddy. i'll help you today." changbin said fixing joonsus hair who nodded although changbin could see that his son was not content with that answer.

they made their way to changbins office where they spent the next two hours struggling with the first grade homework "are you sure you're in first grade?" changbin asked as he looked at the math equations.

joonsu nodded although he was frustrated because usually felix would have helped him finish the work by now. changbin sighed and continued to try and explain it to his son although it seemed the problem was that the teacher had a certain method that had to be followed.

it wasn't a few minutes later when the bell rang inside the house. joonsu looked at his had with hopeful eyes while changbin also had hopes that it was the same person they needed.

"i'll go get it try and start on the next question." changbin said before walking towards the entrence. he took a deep breath and prepared himself to give an apology.

changbin pulled the door open without even looking at the security camera and was disappointed.

"took you long enough."

"what are you doing here?"

minho furrowed his eyebrows "i came to drop off the documents hyunjin said he would send once they were signed. also my jisung called and told me to bring you this." minho said agitated handing him papers along with a bag with freshly made food for the seo's made by jisung.

changbin nodded "thanks." he simply replied which left minho even more confused. changbin never thanks him. "everything alright?" minho asked worried.

"yeah why wouldn't it?"

minho nodded before saying his goodbye and leaving. changbin went ahead took the food to the kitchen and walked to his office where joonsu waited anticipating good news.

"was it lixie?" joonsu asked practically jumping up and down. changbin gave him a small smile and shook his head "it was minho with the food from your uncle jisung."

joonsu nodded and went back to his homework. changbin was about to try and explain to joonsu that he could possibly get a new tutor when the bell rung again. "it's probably minho again."

changbin walked and quickly pulled open the door. "whatever you forgot get it and leave."

"i didn't forget anything. i'm here to fulfill the contract i signed."

changbin blinked as he realized that it wasn't minho but rather felix standing at the door with his arms crossed.

"sorry i thought you were someone else." changbin mumble "look i'm sorry about the past. joonsu really needs your tutoring i..."

"lixie!"

joonsu says as runs towards the door and past his dad to give felix a hug. "lixie did your emergency end early?" joonsu asked looking up waiting for an answer.

felix smiled at joonsu before looking up at changbin who gave him a slight nod intending make him go along. "yeah it wasn't that big of emergency. why don't we get to work before it gets late ok?"

joonsu nodedd happily as he dragged felix towards the study where they always do their homework.

changbin smiled and he watched his son run from his office with his homework back to the study. shaking his head he went ahead and walked upstairs to call hyunjin and thank him.

it was past seven when changbin realized felix would probably leave any second now and walked downstairs to plate the food jisung had sent over.

"lixie please! have dinner with us!" changbin heard from the hallway and decided to walk over seeing joonsu talking to felix.

felix noticed changbin and sighed softly "i don't think i can do that joonie." felix said looking directly at changbin.

"please!" joonsu asked one more time before turning around and noticed his dad. "dad please tell lixie to have dinner with us!" joonsu said giving his dad his famous pout.

"it would be nice if you could join us."

i finished my first summer semester class today and im halfway through my second semester!

i want my two and a half weeks of summer vacation to be here so i can work on korean and Italian languages again.
