"BREE WHAT THE HELL! YOU COULD'VE FUCKING KILLED US!" Richie yelled at me.

"WHY WOULD YOU TRY AND FUCKING TAKE ME OUT OF DERRY?!" I yelled back.

"It's not safe here, we need to leave." Richie said.

"FUCK YOU!" I yelled back at him. "You're a real piece of shit! If we leave, Eddie, Bill, Beverly, Stanley, Ben and Mike die you asshole!" I told him. I just sat there and took a few deep breaths.

"Wait, isn't this where Stan became a man?" Richie asked. I looked up and saw that we were where Stanley had became a man. We just looked at the outside of the building. I read the sign outside of the building, Stanley Uris, it read.

"What the hell." I said. I then unbuckled my seat belt and opened the car door.

"Bree? Bree, what are you doing?" Richie asked me.

"Let's go inside. See what's here." I told him. I then shut the car door and made my way inside. As I walking, it reminded me of when I had came here for Stanley's bar mitzvah.

July, 1989

When my mom dropped me off and I got out, I walked inside. There where a lot of people there. All waiting to be let inside. There was no sign of Stan. He was probably getting ready. And no Richie either who may have been helping Stan prepare.

I waited about ten minutes before we where let in to the room that Stan would be becoming a man in. I sat down on the bleachers to the left of when you walk in, the right of where the podium was where Stanley was. His hair was all slicked back and he was wearing a baby blue tux. He looked nice. He then started to read from the Torah. (I'm sorry if that's not exactly how it goes. I don't know anything about bar mitzvah's except for you become a man, and idk if it's the same for girls and they become a woman, I think so but idk, so sorry) He was doing really well. I then saw him look over to the bleachers opposite of me. I followed his gaze and saw........Richie. Rich smiled softly at him. Stan then looked over at my direction. When he saw me, he looked surprised. Richie must've saw his face because he followed Stan's gaze and also saw me. The exact opposite of what I wanted.

Stan has then finished reading from the Torah and started to give a little speech after. "Reflecting on the reading I just read, the word lesh-knot (I know that's wrong, I just don't know what he said) which means um to  'change' to 'transform'. Which makes sense I guess, because today I'm supposed to become a man. It's funny though, to think that everyone has memories they're prouder of than others right? And maybe that's why change is so scary. Because the things we wish we could leave behind, the whispers we wish we could silence, the nightmares we most want to wake up from, the mistakes we wish we could fix, the memories we wish we could change, secrets we feel like we have to keep, are the hardest to walk away from. The good stuff, the pictures in our mind that fade away the fastest, those piece of you feel the easiest to lose. Maybe I don't want to forget. Maybe, if that's what today is all about, forget it right?"

"Thank you Stanley." His father said, reaching out for the microphone. Stanley just held onto the microphone and walked away from his father.

"Um Uh, today I'm supposed to become a man, I don't, I don't feel any different." Stan said, looking behind him and seeing his father walk after him. "I-I." Stan said getting yanked by the cord because it was only so long. "I know I'ma loser, and no matter what," Stan said. He then turned his head to look at me and then back back to his father. "I always fucking will be." Stan then dropped the mic and walked out as everyone gasped. I just smiled a huge, wide grin. Richie began to stand up and clap so I joined it.

"Go Stanley!" I yelled. Then Richie's mother yanked him down, causing him to quite clapping. I also got quite and sat down. Stanley then looked at his father and walked out of the room.
