The End of Pennywise

I was frozen. It was like time froze. "Bree. Bree come on." Bill said, shaking me. I shook my head and focused back on the problem in front of me. I saw the rest of the Losers running towards the cave Mike was thrown into. I started to run to the cave as well, Bill running next to me. Once we reached the cave, we slipped inside and went over to Mike.

"Mike." Stan said when we reached him. Bill and Eddie started to flip him over, Mike groaned in pain as they did.

"Be careful, be careful." Ben told them as they set Mike on the steps in the cave. Mike's shirt was stained red. Blood dripped out of his mouth and oozed out of the hole where he had been stabbed. I was kneeled down, looking at Mike not even being able to imagine the pain he was in. I then felt a hand on my shoulder. I turned around and saw it was Richie's. There was then a banging and we looked up to see Pennywise at the entrance to the cave trying to get in.

"COME OUT AND PLAY LOSERS!" IT yelled. I then felt Richie take his hand off my shoulder and I turned to see him taking off his jacket.

"He's, he's hurt really bad. We have to get him out of here." Richie said, kneeling down and pushing his jacket against Mike's wound, trying to slow down the bleeding. Mike yelled out in pain.

"How are we supposed to do that, Richie?" Eddie asked him. Richie just looked at him.

"I almost killed IT." Mike told us. "I thought I had."

"You hurt IT, you did so good Mike." I told him, tears escaping my eyes. Pennywise was still banging on the walls of the cave and the derbies was starting to hit us and get in our eyes. Mike then gasped and we all looked at him.

"The Shokopiwah. All living things must abide by the laws of the shape they inhabit." It took me a second to understand what he was saying, but when I did I gasped and I heard Bev do the same.

"Guys!" Ben yelled to us. We all looked over at the spot his voice came from. Ben appeared out of a small hole in the cave wall. "There's a passageway. Through here."

"The tunnel." Bev said. "Pennywise has to make himself small to get through the entrance of the cavern, right?" She asked, her voice shaking.

"Yeah, yeah, so if we can get back there we can-"

"Force him back to size." Bev said, cutting me off.

"Yeah." Bill told us.

"We make him small. Small enough so we can kill him." I told them. I looked around and saw everyone was nodding at each other. Pennywise then hit the cave hard, causing us to all look back at him.

"I CAN SMELL THE STINK OF YOUR FEAR!" He yelled at us, going back to digging at the entrance of the cave.

"Let's go! Go!" Stan yelled.

"Come on! Come on!" Ben yelled, pushing us through the opening. "It's tight. It's tight. Be careful." Ben told us. Bev, Ben, and I led the way while Stan, Richie, and Bill carried Mike. Eddie took up the rear. There was a huge bolder blocking Pennywise from seeing us as soon as we left the cave. When we got out there, Bev and I kept watch as Stan, Richie, and Bill set Mike down.

"I need a little rest." He had told them. "Oh, thanks." Mike then started to groan in pain as he was being set down.

"Hey Richie." Eddie said.

"Yeah?" Richie asked.

"Would now be a bad time to tell you I fucked your mother?" Eddie asked. Richie's face got all serious. We all stayed silent until we heard Mike laughing, coughing at the same time. Eddie laughed a bit too. I walked back over by Bill, getting nervous about running.
