After I had packed everything and was completely ready to go, I called my private jet service. "Hello Miss Denbrough, how may we help you today?" It was Dylan, the pilot.
"Hey Dylan! I need a flight to Derry, Maine tomorrow." I told him.
"May I ask why?" He asked.
"I'm fulfilling an old promise I made." I responded.
"How long ago did you make the promise?" He asked. I hesitated.
"27 years ago." I told him.
"That's a long time." He said.
"I know." I told him. "But it's one of those promises you have to keep."
"Yes of course. When will you be returning home?" He asked. I thought for a second, really thinking.
"I don't know." I told him. "I might not even make it. I guess just pick me up when I call." I told him.
"Okay. I'll see you tomorrow Miss Denbrough."
"See you then Dylan." I said, then hung up. I took a deep breath. I then remembered that I had to book a place to stay. I called my manager and she set it up for me. Afterwards, ran upstairs to make sure everything was packed. I was exhausted. I collapsed on my bed, and feel asleep.
In the morning, my alarm went off at 7:30. It took me a second to realize what today was. Dylan was supposed to pick me up at 8:30. I quickly got dressed, brushed my teeth, combed my hair, on a little makeup, and ate breakfast. When I was done with that, it was 8:00, it took half an hour to get to the airport where Dylan will be, making it perfect timing. I quickly got all my stuff into the car, I was about to pull out when I remembered something. Something that l've had on my bed stand since Derry, a picture of all of us loser's. I ran upstairs, grabbed it, got into my car and went to the airport. When I got there, Dylan was waiting for me. "Right on time Miss Denbrough." He said.
"Yeah, for once." I whispered under my breath. I got aboard the jet, buckled my seat belt, and waited for take off. After Dylan have the usual take off protocol, we were off.
"Fight 173, Derry, Maine." Dylan said through the intercom. I sighed and closed my eyes, dozing off. I woke up to Dylan saying we'd be there in ten minutes. I started to panic. I felt sick again, ran into the bathroom and threw up all my breakfast and everything I've had for the last month. That took ten minutes. After I had wiped my face, Dylan came over the intercom again. "We have arrived at our destination, Miss Denbrough, welcome to Derry, Maine."
"Welcome home Bree, welcome home." I said to myself, hardly believing I was home.
