After Hermione and Scorpius got home from touring the town, Scorpius ran straight to Rose and kissed her cheek, making her blush, and Hermione was dragged into the bedroom by Meg. She sat her down in front of the vanity and started to do her makeup and hair as Hermione laughed. "Meg, what's the special occasion? Why are you dressing me up so much if we're just getting drinks?"

"I'm not dressing you up, I'm just highlighting your beauty," Meg corrected.

"Well to me that's dressing up. I haven't worn makeup since before Scorpius was born," Hermione laughed.

"Well you and me are having a girls night, we need only to look our best," Meg stated. After she finished Hermione's hair and makeup, she gave her her outfit before doing her own hair and makeup and changing into hers.

"Is this all really necessary?" Hermione asked as she looked at herself in the mirror.

"Yes," Meg said firmly. "Come on." Meg linked her arm with Hermione's and dragged her down the spiral staircase where Sue was waiting with Rose and Scorpius.

"Wow, mommy, you look very pretty," Scorpius complimented.

"Thank you, honey," Hermione smiled. Meg raised an eyebrow at her daughter, waiting for a compliment also.

"Eh, you look ok," rose said making everyone laugh.

"Come here you," Meg spoke as she started to tickle her.

"Ahh stop-" she giggled. "Scorp- scorpius help me!"

"Hey, leave my future wife alone," Scorpius protested. Hermione then started to tickle Scorpius making him burst into laughter. Meg and Hermione stopped tickling them but they continued to giggle nonstop on the floor. Hermione and Meg shared a smile before Sue rushed them out. "Go on you two. I've got them, go have fun."

"Thank you, Sue," Hermione smiled.

"Thanks, mom. See you later," Meg said before they left. Meg led the way to the bar because Hermione didn't really remember where it was. They walked in and sat down at the bar and ordered two shots each. They downed them both.. a little too easily.

"I'd kill for a fire whiskey right now," Hermione said making Meg laugh.

"I think Drake keeps some in the back, I'll have to ask him for some when he comes 'round," Meg said.

"Can I ask you a question?" Hermione asked.

"Sure."

"What happened to your husband- or Rose's father?"

"His work requires for him to travel a lot. He's in Australia right now," Meg answered.

"And are you two married?"

"Yes, happily for almost 6 years." Hermione smiled at Meg until she had the huge urge to turn around. When she did so she saw the face she had missed the last four years. The face she had loathed in her early years of school and loved in her last. There standing in front of her was the love of her life, Draco Malfoy.

"Hermione," he breathed out.

"Oh, there's Drake," Meg chimed in.

A sudden rage filled Hermione's body and ran out of the bar with Draco quick on her feet.

"Hermione, wait!" He called. Hermione swung around angrily.

"You've been alive all this time?! I have been mourning you and missing you for the past four year! Four year, Draco! Harry and them, they said you were dead! They said you were taken by Death Eaters and I'd never see you again! But you've been here living your merry life!" Hermione shouted as it started to rain.

"Hermione, I had to leave. I had to protect you and the baby. My father didn't just tell me about everyone being under spells, he told me the death eaters were angry with me for turning them in and were after me. I couldn't- I wouldn't have been able to live with myself if anything were to have happened to you."

"I would've gone with you," Hermione cried as Draco stepped closer to her.

"That would've put you in danger," he said. "Blaise was meant to keep an eye on you and the baby until I was able to send for you-"

"Blaise? Blaise knew? You told him and not me?" Hermione questioned.

"I didn't want the Death Eaters preforming Legilimency on you and Blaise is a very skilled Legilimen," Draco explained. "And I was going to send for you to come once I got settled but Blaise hadn't been owling me back when I found out in the Daily Prophet that you were back together with Ron."

"Blaise and Astoria moved to the Zanibi Mansion in Spain after they got married two years ago! And you and I both know the stupid prophet is never a reliable source of information! It was just a stupid made up article!" Draco didn't say anything as it started pouring and they were getting drenched. "You promised you'd never leave," she sobbed. "And then you left."

"Hermione, I'm sorry," he finally choked out as they were both crying. "But I also promised that I'd protect you and the baby at all costs." She didn't respond and turned to leave. "I love you, Hermione! I've always and will always love you!" She stopped in her tracks but didn't turn around. "And I understand if you need time to think or whatever or if you don't love me anymore. I just- I just want you to know I was going to come back once it was safe. Once every Death Eater was caught, or at least until enough was caught that wouldn't put you and the baby in any danger being around me. Everything that I've done, Every decision I've made was for you and the baby."

"Scorpius," Hermione spoke. "His name is Scorpius." She then walked away leaving Draco alone in the pouring rain.
