By the time Blaise had apparated to Hermione's flat, she had broken half the furniture in rage. She was screaming and crying while she flipped over tables and threw lamps across the room. Blaise had to wrap his arms around her and pull her back to keep her from breaking her TV with a bat. "Hermione, stop!" Blaise spoke. She fought back for awhile until she got tired. He let go of her and she stood upright. "Hermione, what the hell was that back there?" Blaise asked. "Do you even realize what you just said?" Hermione only breathed hard and didn't say anything. "You just told him you never want to see him again."

"I don't," she stated.

"Don't you think that's a bit irrational?" Blaise asked.

"No. I don't," she snapped. "He made his choice. He left and didn't want to come back."

"That was four years ago-"

"Exactly!" Hermione cried. "It's been four years! He's been gone for four years! You know want he was doing the last four years? Getting up late everyday and going to work. Getting drunk at his own bar! Going to bed late every night without a care in the world. You want to know what I was doing? I getting up early and going to work. I was coming home and taking care of our son. I was cleaning the house. I was cooking dinner. I was paying the bills. I had to do it all on my own! Do you have any idea how hard that was?"

"I understand-"

"No you don't," Hermione interrupted. "You don't understand because if you did you wouldn't be standing here lecturing me about what I said to him. You would be agreeing with it. You would be on my side."

"I am on your side, Mione," Blaise spoke.

"Really? Cause it sure doesn't feel like it," she huffed.

Blaise sighed, "I'm sorry, you're right. It was wrong of him to chose a bar over you and Scorpius, but at least he's here now."

"I just... I just missed him so much, Blaise, and now he comes back and acts like nothings happened. Like he never left. He expects me to understand... but I can't. All I can understand is the fact that he left me... he left me without saying goodbye," Hermione began to cry and a Blaise pulled her into a hug.

"I think you should go back." He sighed. "You owe it to not only Draco, but yourself and Scorpius. Just try to work it out, so that you could be a family again."

"But he left." She mumbled into his shoulder.

"He left to protect you and Scorpius, because he loves you and he will always love you no matter what." He responded.

"You're right." She sighed after a moment to think about it.

"So you'll go back?" He asked and she nodded. "Alright, you go ahead. I'll stay and clean up." She nodded again before apparating back to Malfoy Manor. Everyone was sitting in the living room talking when Hermione got back. Draco stood up the second she walked through the door.

"Hermione." He spoke.

"So he's told you?" She asked everyone and they nodded.

"Where's Blaise?" Astoria asked.

"Fixing my apartment." She answered. "I broke a few things."

"Why'd you come back?" Draco asked.

"Because Blaise is right, I was thinking irrationally which led me to say things I didn't mean in the heat of the moment, and I apologize. And I know that you only left to protect us but you could've said goodbye." Hermione teared up. "I spent ages looking for you, trying to find any bit of hope that someday you were going to come back to us- back to me. So when I saw you there, I felt like you had abandoned me. Like you had changed your mind and that you didn't love me anymore. Then you said you did and I believed you because I had missed you so much and when you said you didn't want to come back with me it was like I had lost you all over again. It felt like the only thing you were hiding from was me and it broke my heart more than all the heartbreak I've ever gone through put together." Hermione was sobbing at this point.

"Hermione, I'm so sorry. I never meant for you to feel like that. If I could take it all back I would and you know that." Draco started. "Leaving you and Scorpius was the hardest thing I've ever done it my entire life but I had to leave and if I had said goodbye or had waited until after Scorpius was born I would've never been able to leave and that would've put you both is danger. When we were in that diner and you had asked me to come back with you the first thought that popped into my head was yes. I wanted to come back with you, I wanted to get married and raise our son with you like we had planned but I knew that I'd be putting you at risk. So I came up with a lame excuse about having an innocent life there and something about my bar and I'm sorry. I realize now that it could be about 20 years before they catch all the death eaters, all the threats to this family but I don't want to wait that long. I want to be here with you. I want to raise Scorpius with you. I want to grow old and die with you. Because I love you."

Everyone was crying now. Hermione smiled before pulling him down to kiss her. He pulled her hips closer before she pulled away.

"I love you too." She mumbled.

"Do you forgive me?"

"Yes, I forgive you." She mumbled softly before kissing him again. He smiled into the kiss and lifted her up and swung her around making her giggle as he put her back down.

They hugged for awhile before everyone started clapping. After they had stopped Ginny threw a pillow at Hermione.

"Ow what the hell?" She exclaimed.

"Why didn't you tell me?!" She asked. "I wouldn't have told anyone."

"Right, like you didn't tell anyone we had started dating." Hermione said sarcastically making Ginny open her mouth but no sound came out.

Everyone laughed and Scorpius ran over to them. Hermione picked him up.

"Hey, kid." Draco smiled at him,

"Hi." Scorpius mumbled shyly. "If you're gonna be my dad then I'm sorry for hitting you in the face, please don't ground me."

"You did what?" Hermione asked.

"It's alright. I deserved it, just don't do it again." Draco said.

Scorpius nodded.

"Thanks dad!" He smiled widely before wiggling out of Hermione's arms and running off with Rose.

"He called me dad." Draco smiled proudly.

"Well you are his dad, aren't you?" Hermione said sarcastically.

"Well I don't know, you tell me." He joked.

They both rolled their eyes before sitting down with their friends.
