elliana sighs as she interlocks her hand with taehyung as he laced his hand with nari's, they were in south korea for their father's funeral. their mother had wanted their father to be laid where his life all started.

"are you okay?" taehyung asks as he notices elie's silence, he knows that she's nervous to meet his family, "it's okay. there's nothing for you to worry about."

"i know it's just natural for me you know? i'm really shy when it comes to new people and i'm just scared my anxiety's gonna get to me," the girl shrugs and tae chuckles

"i'll be right by your side the whole time," he reassures her, "me too ellie!" nari shouts with a smile on her face

"thank you guys, i really appreciate it."

"oh my babies!" mrs kim cries we she sees nari and taehyung walk up to her, she
runs up to them and starts suffocating them with hugs and kisses, "oh i've missed you two, i don't understand why you couldn't fly here with me."

"eomma, you know i had to take care of stuff before we came," taehyung says and mrs kim rolls her eyes

"going out with jimin and jungkook is not taking care of stuff mister," she slaps her son on the back of the head and ellie giggles a little, which catches mrs kim's attentions, "oh hello! may i ask who you are?"

"annyeonghaseyo mrs kim! i'm elliana..."

"this is taehyung girlfriend eomma! the one i was telling you about, she's the one who's really nice and smells just like you!" nari butts in once again with a huge smile on her face

"so you're the chick that has my taehyungie sprung?"

"um..yes?" ellie croaks out and taehyung could sense that she was starting to doubt herself, but it takes everybody for a surprise when mrs kim engulfs ellie into a hug

"oh it is such a pleasure to finally meet you! i've been trying to get taehyungie to get a girlfriend for ages, and you're so pretty! i definitely approve," she winks and ellie finds herself smiling at the older women

"thank you mrs kim..i'm so sorry for your lost."

"it's okay dear, life happens. but please, cal me minji, you're practically family now!"

"thank you so much mrs- minji," the girl smiles at the older once again as they hug

"now..how about we have a nice night before tomorrow? i can sense that's there's going to be lots of crying," minji jokes and taehyung frowns, he knows that his mother's trying to be strong for them. which hurts them the most

"that would be lovely eomma," taehyung says

"we can't forget the ice cream eomma!"

minji smiles at her two lovely children who bring her so much joy, "of course my love!"
