"are you sure you two will be safe in the states? you could always live here with me," minji says trying to convince her children once again to move back home with her, "i already told you my answer, it's still a no." taehyung's quick to say with an attitude and ellie's eyebrows furrow. since when did taehyung get so harsh with his mother?

"oh okay...elliana may i speak with you privately?" minji asks in a sweet tone and ellie shakes her head yes, but taehyung's quick to pull her back, "i'll be okay honey, go start the car."

when the two ladies get to the room full of silence minji just stares at her, making ellie quite uncomfortable, "you wanted to speak with me ma'am?"

"you know you're the reason why my son refuses to move here with me right?" the lady says harshly

"um..excuse me?"

"you heard me. look, i don't know how you manipulated my son into-"

"ma'am-"

"that's mrs. kim to you, you little-"

"i don't know why you think i've had something to do with that but i promise you i don't, tae hasn't even brought it up to me since that day...is that what you really think of me? some manipulative person who wants to keep your son away from you? mrs kim i would never do that to you," ellie takes a step to lady and risks grabbing her hand to calm her down

"it's just...i'm not used to seeing tae like this, in love with a woman. i've just always thought i'd be the only woman in his life that he needed, and you guys just remind me of my husband and i'd relationship so much it's-" minji couldn't even finish her sentence before she bursted into tears, ellie took the time to pull her into a hug and soothingly rub her back, "i'm so sorry mrs kim i had no idea you felt this way."

"i'll talk to tae about moving here, for you."

"elliana i could never ask you to do that, not after i disrespected your—"

"mrs. kim i understand why okay? i really do, it'll try my best," the older lady stares at the woman who has taken her son's heart, "i see why tae loves you so much, you truly are such a wonderful woman, and you would do great as my son's wife." that's when ellie chokes on her spit and minji laughs, "have you guys not talked about marriage yet?"

"no ma'am, but i have thought about getting married to taehyung, it's not a bad idea." ellie says with a smile, "do you love him?"

ellie stares at her boyfriend's mother, she couldn't lie to her. does she really love tae? after all the things he's done for her and her little brother, how he took her into his care and cared for her more than her ex boyfriend has ever done in their entire relationship, he's proven that he really does care and love ellie, also the fact that he was able to convince her that he wasn't just a friend

"yes..." the girls nods with a big smile on her face, "i do love taehyung, very much."
