"princess are you sure you're okay?" taehyung asks ellie for the thousandth time as he watches her on the couch

ever since that incident he has been on her tail, always asking her if she was okay, and wouldn't let her leave the house without him, ellie knows that he cares but he's getting a tad bit clingy and annoying

"tae for the last time i'm okay, stop worry about me," ellie huffs as she grabs the tv remote, "come watch a movie with me."

"elliana..." he drags her name out because he knows she isn't telling the full truth, that's why he was always on her case, because all taehyung wanted was the truth, "taehyung..."

"honey you're really gonna let me watch COCO by myself, you don't love me for real," ellie pouts and gives him a teasing look and taehyung can't help but roll his eyes, he knows she's trying to distract from the problem but he lets it go

for now

when he takes a seat on the couch ella throws herself onto her lap, her legs across his horizontally and throws her arms around him, hugging and cuddling up to his chest

taehyung let the movie play for thirty minutes, they sat there in silence, nobody moved, talked, anything...

"elliana."

"yes honey?"

"are you sure-"

"oh my gosh," ellie groans loudly and rolls her eyes, she thought this topic would be forgotten by now, "i really wish you would drop this. you see me right? then i'm okay!"

"you may look okay but mentally...are you okay?" at this point ellie is fed up, she rolls her eyes and looks at her boyfriend, "i'd be okay if you'd stop asking me every five fucking seconds, geez take a hint tae."

"ellie stop-"

"fine, your persistent ass i'm not fucking okay!" ellie jumps off of his laps to take a good look at him, she could feel the tears coming, "my fucking life flashes before my damn eyes and you keep asking me if i'm o fucking kay? the fuck do you think tae?! hell no i'm okay, i almost died! for some shit i didn't even fucking do and those bastards didn't even listen! they just assumed i did because of the color of my skin! and literally how inconsiderate are you? you keep asking me this shit and pestering me about i just want to forget about it! my parents are already on my ass and i'm already supposed to be going to the courthouse for this shit i don't need to throwing it in my face every damn minute of the day! so to answer your question i'm not okay tae, isn't that all you wanted to hear? now leave me the fuck alone." ellie furiously wipes her tears before trying to leave, but taehyung's quick to grab her wrist

"princess i'm sorry it's just..you were fucking scaring me! you weren't talking to me and it literally scared the shit out of me but baby i didn't mean to pester you or be inconsiderate i swear," taehyung cups ellie's face and she notices the tears in her eyes as well, she was being selfish, only thinking about herself what about tae? he witnessed her almost dying

"i'm a selfish ass bitch and i don't deserve you," she whimpers while tae's eyebrows just furrow, "what? why would you say that?"

"because you've witnessed it and i'm being inconsiderate of your feelings as well, i was only thinking about me and-"

"princess you don't need to apologize, i may not be able to understand fully but i don't blame you, you were the one who actually had to go through that while i just watched, yeah it hurt but not as much as it could hurt you...i'm just glad your safe and in my arms," he kisses her on the forehead before leaning his against her, they were both crying

"i love you so much tae."

"i love you so much more ellie."

and for the rest of the night..they stayed in each other's arms.
