"are you okay?" ellie asked as she fixed taehyung's tie for him, he was staring ahead and he looked as if he was thinking hard about something, "me? oh yeah i'm good."

"i know you're trying to be strong for your mother and nari but please don't hide your emotions," the girl pleads as she looks up at her boyfriend

"princess i know better, and i know that i have you so if i ever needed to vent you'll be the first person i'm coming to," taehyung replies and brings a faint smile to ellie's face. but that's when taehyung checks his watch, "we gotta go babe."

ellie nods before grabbing her jacket then lacing her hand with tae's, "let's get this day over with."

the entire ceremony was beautiful, mr. kim was honored for the great things he did in life and informed the public how much he loved the three most important people to him, minji, taehyung, and nari.

during the burial nari had a slight breakdown, she tried to go into the casket with her father, she wanted to give him one last hug before she ever saw him again, it broke taehyung's heart to see his little sister break down like that, including ellie.

currently the entire kim family and friends were at the repast, laughing and reminiscing about the things mr. kim has done for all of them and his family, he was truly a good man.

"i can't believe taehyungie got himself a girlfriend! he always talked about how he'd never give his heart to a woman," one of taehyung's family members tell elliana with a smile, the entire family loved ellie. she was a pretty girl with smooth skin, and a nice smile, also the fact that she was able to tame the famous kim taehyung

"as much as he gives me headaches i care for him, a lot," ellie confesses and the ladies around her aww, "have you guys said i love you yet?"

"he's told me that he loves me...but i haven't said it back yet," ellie admits and the ladies around gasp in shock, "but why? you seem so in love with him."

"i'm..too scared to say it. when i met tae i was just trying to get out of an abusive relationship. he knows that i'm not ready to say it and he understands."

"aww that's so sweet, i envy your relationship," one of the girls say and ellie smiles, that's when taehyung makes his way over to ellie and plants a kiss on her temple. she blushes as the ladies aww once again

"are they causing you any trouble?" taehyung asks with a smirk on his face, "no we're just talking. you okay?"

"i'm good princess, don't worry about me," he replies

"taehyungie we need more drinks, do you mind running to the store and getting some?" minji asks her son

"i'll go eomma.." taehyung reverts his attention back to ellie, "are you gonna be fine here?"

"can i come with you?" the girl laughs and he chuckles, "you missed me that much? we've only been away from each other for bout an hour."

"shut up and grab the keys you doof."

"your mother asked for drinks why do you have candy?" ellie asks as taehyung walks up to her with a big boxy smile on his face

"i was going to grab the drinks but i saw that they had my favorite candy, can we get it princess please? they don't have it back in america and it's been years since i've had some," he begs and ellie giggles before shaking her head yes. how could she say no to something so cute?

"we still need the drinks though tae."

"i know baby, cmon let's—"

"no way! is that kim fucking taehyung?!" the couple averts their attention to a y'all and handsome man making their way to them, after hearing that voice and seeing the man taehyung finally recognizes him

"lee dae-won! my man i've missed you!" the two men engulf in a hug and ellie just stands there awkwardly, "princess this is lee dae-won, my best friend. dae-won this is elliana, my girlfriend."

"nice to meet you, never thought i would see this man with a girlfriend," dae-won says as the two shake hands

why does everybody keep saying that!?

"it's nice to meet you too! best friend huh? why haven't you ever brought him up babe?"

"you've never talked about me man!? aww that's sick, but hey are you okay? i heard you dad died, sorry i couldn't make it to the funeral," dae-won says sympathetically and ellie wonders why tae really never brought him up, he was a sweet man

"i'm good, can't really show anything for eomma and nari you know? speaking of which i need to go get the drinks, how about you two stay here and chat? i'll be right back," taehyung says and the two nod before he leaves

"so what do you—"

"the fuck are you doing with a man like taehyung?" dae-won's tone suddenly changes, "wha- what?"

"you heard me, the fuck are you doing with a man like taehyung? he's weak and could never protect you baby, you need a man..." he steps closer to ellie and cups her cheek in his hand, "a man like me."

"he's your best friend thought how could you-"

"that weakling? he's never been a friend to me. now how about you leave him and come to me, bet you i'll treat you better, kiss you better, and fuck you better than him," at this point ellie has a sick feeling in her stomach, she doesn't reply she just pulls away from dae-won and tries to run away but he's too quick, he grab her wrist roughly and pulls her back

"let go of me! you're hurting me!" memories of jordan floats through ellie's mind and tears start to cloud her vision

"don't force it baby," that's when dae-won pulls ellie into a kiss, the kiss was rough and not at all like taehyung's kisses. ellie could taste her salty tears against his chapped and rough lips

"the fuck?!" dae-won pulls away and ella turns to see taehyung standing there, with the drinks gripped to his side

"tae it was your thirsty girlfriend, she's the one who-"

"that's not true! tae he came onto-"

"why're you crying?" taehyung asks as he steps up to ellie, he notices that her wrist is slightly bruised and red, that's when anger rushes through his body

"the fuck did you do to her!?" he slams dae-won into the isle and ellie shouts, "taehyung!"

"i did what she wanted me to do, what you couldn't," then he snaps

taehyung throws him onto the ground as his fists start plummeting him everywhere, ellie has to pull taehyung away, there's blood slightly on his first and his breathing is harsh

"i'm okay honey, let's just go he isn't worth it," ellie cups his face in her hands and forces him to look at her, "i'm okay."

and the two leave the store without the drinks, and a slightly injured dae-won by himself.
