(Y/N POV)
It has now been about a month and a half since I last saw Nathaniel. Not that I've really even left the tower. Heck, I've only been back and forth between my room, the common floor, and the training room. That's all. I haven't seen any Quevenyee sneaking around, but I guess you kinda have to go outside for that. Which I will be doing for the first time today. "Hey, Y/N, do you wanna go shopping with us?" Wanda asks as she walks into the common floor kitchen with Peter, Natasha, Pepper, Cassie, and Carol. "I don't know guys." I say uneasily. "Come on, it'll be fun!" He says, flashing puppy dog eyes at me. "It's just a little mall trip. It'll do you good to get out. Besides, I think we can handle whatever these 'Quevenyee' throw at us." She smiles with a wink. Cassie grins. "I'm game. I need new makeup." She laughs. I haven't gotten to know her or Carol much yet, but they seem really great. I nod. "Okay I guess, sounds fun."

We all get ready to leave, and total our group consists of me, Wanda, Natasha, Cassie, Carol, Pepper, Harley (whom I just met), and Peter. "I'm only going to look for Nintendo Switch games." Harley says, and Peter nods in agreement. Us girls roll our eyes, but eventually load up in one of Tony's cars, and make our way to the mall. I gotta say, things on the whole Angyellos drama have been too quiet lately. I still have a bad feeling about going. Peter must've sensed this, because he keeps talking to me and reassuring me that we'll be fine the whole ride there. I just hope this trip goes well and we make it out in one piece. Once we arrive, Peter and Harley split up from us girls, and then we pair off to different stores. Natasha and Pepper are going to look around at shoes, Cassie and Carol are headed to find makeup, which leaves me and Wanda to go into Hot Topic.
Wanda heads towards the more emo looking punk outfits on one side of the store, and I immediately head for the back wall of the store,

which is lined with Funko Pops. I grin as I spy the exact ones I've been wanting.
I pick up a (AN: they can be whatever ones you want in your mind, but I'm making them supernatural ones keke) Sam one, Dean one, and Cas one, from my favorite show, and stack them in my hands. Wanda laughs when I walk over to her. "Supernatural huh?" She says with a grin. I nod happily, and go to pay for them. Once my things are paid for and in bags, I wait for Wanda to finish up. I'm casually waiting by the entrance, watching people pass by, when I startle and my attention goes to a man in a hooded cloak on the other side of the mall walkway. Only he looks like something more than a man. He has a mask on, and all I can see are his glowing red eyes. But as fast as I saw the red eyes, it quickly disappears, and he looks like a normal man again. I tilt my head slightly in confusion. "Y/N? Are you okay?" Wanda says from beside me. I jump, not realizing she had been there.
"Oh, uh, I'm okay." I say, trying to sound more sure then I am.

We walk towards the video game store Peter and Harley went to, and they meet up with us outside. "I think everyone else wants to meet up at the food court." Peter says, looking up from his phone. He must've been texting Cassie. We casually walk together, talking about what we bought, I stick a little closer to Peter because he's the only one I really know. We're almost to the food court, when I stop abruptly. Hoodie guy is now standing twenty feet in front of us, and I can see his red steely eyes. I swallow thickly and my adrenaline starts pumping. I know— I feel— that he's about to do something. Wanda and Harley are looking at me in confusion, and Peter is worriedly trying to get me to tell him what's wrong, but I've tuned them out. Red Eyes notices me staring, and he meets my eye. His eyes narrow. Does he know I can see him? I look away quickly. Anywhere but at him. I tune back in to Peter. "-something wrong?" I catch the last of his sentence. I can sense hoodie guy coming closer. He has got to be a Quevenyee.

I can feel his- darkness? His power? It's awful, and scary, and I don't like it.
"I'm okay! I'm sorry, I-I just zoned out, I don't know what happened. I think I'm getting a headache." I act. Anything to make the Quevenyee not know that I saw him. Peter seems to buy my act, calming down a little, but his eye brow is raised in suspicion and he's still wearing a worried frown. "Maybe you need to dial back the training for a few days?" He says, gently taking my arm and guiding me through the crowds again, Wanda and Harley in tow. "No I- I'm okay. I think it's just from actually being out in public for so long. I've been cooped up in the tower for almost two months." I try to laugh it off. I look behind me, making it look like I'm glancing back at Wanda and Harley, but I'm actually scanning the crowded mall walkway behind us. The hooded man is now following us a few yards back. I make sure not to look for too long, and turn my gaze back to Peter. He stops us both as we wait for a group of people coming out of a store to pass.

"You sure you're okay?" He asks again. I nod. "Yeah. Just hungry." I try to smile, but I know it comes out uneasy. I know he can sense my distress because he keeps quietly saying things like "we're almost there" and "we're good, we're good" which is actually somewhat comforting. The food court is right around the corner, I can even see people milling about with trays of food. So close.
Then hoodie guy suddenly appears out of nowhere. I tense up, but I try so hard not to react. I keep my eyes scanning around the mall like I'm just looking around. Peters hand slides down my arm and he intertwines his fingers with mine, then pulls me along at more of a speed walk. A speed walk headed straight for the hooded man. Can Peter not see him? I look at Peters face but he shows no sign of slowing or moving around him. Now we're only ten feet away, and I notice that red eye dudes silhouette actually looks more shadowy. We're now right up on him, and he's staring right at me.

I avert my eyes from him, focusing on the now visible food court. Right as we're up on him, he then disappears. Did no one notice? Not a single person here? I look up at Peter in wide eyed confusion, but he's focused on getting to the food court tables. He turns to Harley and Wanda. "You guys go ahead and meet up with the others, get me my usual, Harley, what do you want Y/N?" Peter says, calm but slightly hurriedly. "Oh uh, just chicken tenders or something I guess." I shrug distractedly. Wanda and Harley still look confused. "We'll go find a table." Peter says. He smiles at Harley, then pulls my hand and leads us to a table in the farthest corner of the huge court. We both sit. Peter scans the room, then looks at me.
"What happened?" He asks. I avoid his eyes. "Nothing." I say. He scoffs. "Bull. Not only did I sense that- that feeling, I also sensed you freaking out, which means you sensed it too. What did you see?" He asks seriously. I take a deep breath and look up at him.

"I....I think it may have been a..." I stop, and lower my voice, looking around the room as I do. "A Quevenyee." I whisper.
"You saw one? Where? I didn't see anyone." His eyebrows furrow. "I don't know I- I kept seeing him. At first I saw him when I was with Wanda, but he disappeared, and then I saw him again when we met up with you, and I could see his- his true, form, or whatever. Nate said something about it a while ago." I say, my voice still low. "Who?" Peter asks.
"Nathaniel? The Messenger that knocked everyone out that one time? He talks to me. Sometimes anyway." I explain. Peter starts to ask another question, but the others walk up then with our food. My stomach growls, and I start to eat, occasionally looking at Peter, with him returning a small curve of a smile, trying to be reassuring I guess. I actually start to calm down, and I've almost finished my food, when that feeling gnaws at me again. I slowly, as casually as possible, look up and scan the room.

Hoodie guy is standing near the trash cans on the other side of the room. He seems to be talking to two other men, who have smaller shadows and different cloaks. He finishes talking to them, and they both make their way across the room slowly. No one notices. "Can you see that hooded guy standing by the trash cans?" I whisper to Peter. He looks, narrows his eyes, then looks back at me. "I- don't see anyone?" He says. I turn my head back towards him with wide eyes. "Am I the only one who can see them?" I whisper yell. "I don't know!" He whisper yells back. One of the hooded men is now stopped behind a random man sitting by himself at a table, and he looks kind of troubled. The Quevenyee raises his hand, and just touches the random guys shoulder. The man immediately gets a dark look on his face, and he stands from his table. Something is in the pocket of his jeans. "Peter." I say, completely focusing on the man. The man puts his hand in his pocket.

"Peter!" I say louder, which grabs the attention of the rest of our group at the table next to us. Peter sees me starting to stand, and gets ready to as well. The man looks around the room, and then pulls his hand out of his pocket, a gun in hand....
