As the final week approached and the crews wrapped up their work, my remaining tasks would involve overseeing deliveries and ensuring everything was properly installed in the club. With a dedicated team to assist with decor and furniture placement, the end of this project was finally in sight. I eagerly looked forward to completing this journey and seeing the club fully transformed. Weeks went by, and I hardly had to see or deal with Carmen. Once all of the furniture and decor had arrived, I assemble my team, which included Natalie, and together we decorated the club, it was ready a day before the deadline.

I can't believe through all the stress and headache I went through, I actually completed this project in such a short amount of a time, an unrealistic, impossible amount of time. It took a lot of sweat and dedication from so many people to get this place together, and it came out fabulous. Carmen was here to oversee everything, and even though she hates me and I hate her, she was happy with the results and even thanked me, in a Carmen way.

"I must begrudgingly admit that you've managed to bring my vision for the club to life. Despite my initial reservations about your capabilities, I am pleasantly surprised by the outcome. It seems you can occasionally rise to the occasion when needed. Thank you, I suppose, for exceeding my low expectations."

"It's been quite the journey, hasn't it? I appreciate your acknowledgment, even if it's begrudging."

With a resigned sigh, she mutters, "Whatever," and walks away. I suppose my job here is finished. After thanking everyone for their efforts and confirming everything is set, the atmosphere is filled with relief as everyone is eager to leave this place and put it behind them. Despite its charm, dealing with the owner has been a nightmare.

Natalie and I quickly head for the exit, lock up, jump into the car, and head home. She's got plans with Adam tonight, and I'm looking forward to spending time with Jordon. Once we arrived home I made my way up to the apartment as quickly as possible to get ready before Jordon arrived. As soon as we arrived home, I dashed up to my apartment, eager to get ready before Jordon's arrival. Tonight, he had invited me to accompany him to a business party with important clients, a gesture that made me feel special. Rushing into the bathroom, I took a quick shower and meticulously shaved my legs, hoping that after the party, Jordon and I could share another intimate night like the one we had a few weeks ago at the hotel. Our schedules had been hectic, and while we made time for each other as promised, moments like those had been rare amid the exhaustion.

But tonight, I felt a surge of anticipation, craving the electrifying sensations he sparked within me. Once I stepped out of the shower, wrapped in a towel and still damp with anticipation, I hurried into my room only to be met by the sight of Jordon standing there, looking dashing in a sharp burgundy and black suit that accentuated his stature. His presence alone filled the room with a quiet intensity, but it was the lavender-colored box in his hand that truly caught me off guard. Surprise painted across my face, I took the box from him, my heart skipping a beat as he smiled knowingly. "Wear this tonight," he said softly, his eyes gleaming with a mix of warmth and anticipation. Carefully, I opened the box and was greeted by a stunning necklace, its delicate design catching the light as if it held a secret sparkle of its own. Beside it lay a sleek, sexy black dress that whispered promises of elegance and allure.

I looked up at Jordon, speechless for a moment as emotions swirled within me—gratitude, excitement, and a rush of affection for this man who seemed to know exactly what I needed. "Jordon," I finally managed, my voice barely above a whisper, "this is..." He gently took the necklace from the box and moved behind me, his fingers brushing softly against my skin as he fastened it around my neck. "It's perfect for tonight," he murmured, his breath warm against my ear. Feeling the weight of the necklace against my collarbone and the soft fabric of the dress in my hands, I couldn't help but smile. "Thank you," I said sincerely, turning to face him. "You always know how to make everything special."
