Transferring to Nekoma so far has been one of the best decisions you've ever made. That and changing your shampoo brand. Sitting with the other girls at lunch (whose names you've learn), you happily listened as they talked about their classes. There was Monozono Nanami, a third year student; Kuronuma Sawako, Nanami's classmate and best friend since 4th grade; Nanami Harkua, a second year student in the regular class; and Kawamoto Hinata, a first year student.

   "I heard Jinguji is at it again Haruka~ Why won't you date him?" Nanami teased. Haruka only blushes at her response. The other girls giggled and you couldn't help but send a smile towards the girl. "Besides, if you were to date Jinguji, I can finally be able to go on a double date! Think about it, you and Jinguji; Tomoe and I. It's practically destiny!"

Hinata only sighed as Nanami rambled about destiny and other shenanigans. Tsubaki gave you a small smile as a way of apologizing for her friend's eccentricities. That's when Nanami turned towards you. And for some odd reason, a chill went down you spine the moment her mischievous eyes locked with yours.

"So (L/N)-san," she said to you. As innocent as her approach was, you couldn't help but gulp and pray that she wouldn't put you through the same embarrassment as Haruka. Logically, you just met. You should be fine, right?

At least that's what you thought to yourself.

Oh how wrong you were.

"Do you have a boyfriend? Or is it a crush?"

Your face burned so bad, you'd probably be able to cook something on it.

"N-No! I-I-I don't! I-I've never had a boyfriend actually..." Nanami gasped when she heard you mention your nonexistent love life.

"You've never had one?!"

You shook your head no.

You could've sworn you heard her mutter 'But your face is so pretty...' before she cleared her throat.

"Then it looks like we have a goal before Sawako and I graduate and that is," she then pointed at you as a way to make her declaration even clearer than ever. "To get our new friend a boyfriend!"

You went red at Nanami's statement and began to stutter pleas against it.

By the end of the day, you were exhausted. Never did you ever think that regular school was tiring, but you had to admit that you liked the feeling. You indulged in the feeling of it and it felt almost refreshing. You let out a content sigh as you finished packing up your last few items before heading out. It was currently 3:15PM and according to your calculations, if you took the train at 3:30PM, you'd make it home within half an hour. The good thing was that the train station was only five minutes away and you had ten minutes to get a few snacks.

As you were making your way out the door, you were greeted by your new group of friends. Nanami gave you a wide smile before pulling you towards to opposite direction of your intended route.

As you were being dragged while you sputtered out in surprise, a pudding haired boy felt empathy towards you as he headed towards the same direction as you.

From the very end of the hallway, Kenma could clearly hear your pleas as your new friends dragged you to God knows where.

"Monozono-san! It's not that I'm not interested, but I'm not!"

"(L/N)-san, you have a really nice face, but the lack of boyfriend is what kills you."

"That doesn't make any sense!"

You could already hear the cries of your dad once he realizes your not home at the expected time.

In the end, you decided to let your friends drag you to whatever destination they want you to see. Before you could even consider leaving, they opened the doors to the same gym doors you were in earlier that day and went inside with you.

"One touch!"

You saw a volleyball fly in the air before it landed towards your feet. Picking it up, you looked for someoneto hand it to when it was gently plucked out of your grasp by a pair of soft hands.

"Oh, hi Kozume-kun!" said Tsubaki as she waved erratically at the boy in front of you. He only nodded in acknowledgment before walking towards the volleyball team.

"(L/N)," said Nanami. You looked towards her as she spoke. "Welcome to the volleyball club, your only chance at love."

That's when you bowed towards your new friends in apology before heading out.
