Chapter 29 "Rydellington & Drives"

\Ross's POV/

            Continued from last chapter...

        I walked in the room with Selena, hand in hand, seeing everyone staring. "Hey guys," I smirked. I suddenly saw Ratliff and he came to me, "Still need the talk?" I looked down at Sel and she looked back at me. She raised her eyebrows and pursed her lips as if she's trying to ask me something.

        "Well, do you?" I feel she would be saying. 

        I smiled and shook my head, "No, I'm good," I said back at him. He nodded and sighed, "Alright." I felt Sel rest her head on me and she smiled slightly. I didn't need to talk to anyone anymore because, I know everything is going to be okay. I know it.

        "Um... Rydel, can I talk to you?" Ratliff asked. Rydel nodded, "Sure."

        They left the room. "Uh, should we worry?" Riker asked. "Nah, I knew it was going to happen sooner or later anyway," Rocky smirked drinking some coke. I couldn't help but laugh at that.

        \Rydel's POV/ 

        I walked into the hallway with Ellington and he had a concerned look in his eye and he walked shyly. "What's up?" I asked and he shrugged, "Um, well, I just wanted to ask you something."

        "Yes?"

        "Rydel, I really like you and lately, I feel like we have some connection..." he said. His words stung in my heart making it race. I felt the same way for a while. I had a crush on Ratliff a while back when we first met, thinking he was pretty cute. When I saw him at the mall with Selena, I kind of felt that same feeling again!

        "Will you go out with me?" He whispered. I looked down but then back up and smiled once my eyes met his, "Yes." He nodded, "Really?" and I nodded, "Yes! Ratliff, I like you too and I guess I was just waiting for you to say something!" I laughed and he laughed along.

        "This is great.." he said and I nodded and couldn't help but hug him tight and he hugged back, gently stroking the back of my blonde silky hair. "Let's wait a while until we tell your brothers... or anyone really," he said and I said okay because I understand why he would say that. Riker, Rocky, Ross and even Ryland are pretty protective of me with anyone. This makes me happy though, my best guy friend finally being my boyfriend. This is great.

        \Selena's POV/ 

        "We can drive you down to the college today if you want," Stormie said. I shrugged, "My mom said she wanted to drive me to college and stuff. But, maybe you guys can come along..." I said looking around and seeing Rydel and Ellington finally coming back in the room. Stormie finally sighed, "Okay, I'll talk to your mother and maybe a couple of you kids can go along with her." 

        "I'm coming," Ross said standing up straight and tall next to me, grabbing onto my hand in which I held his back with my palm facing up. Stormie nodded, "Of course."

        "Me too!" Rydel shouted and came over to me smiling. I smiled and Riker sighed, "I guess I'll come too."

        "Ryland?" Ross asked and Ryland smirked, "Alright, I'll come."

        Hours later... They arrive at the college, hours away from the Lynch house.

        I looked up at the college and it was pretty big, I saw different people from different races to different personalities. It looked amazing. I cannot wait to start the year, already! 

        Ross was holding my hand tight as he looked out the window looking at the college. I gulped and held on tighter. I was nervous about this. Ross and I's relationship will get so difficult with me being at school all the time and it is hours away from home. I can't drive all the way down just to see him and all the way back! By the time I get home, It would be late night and I would have to come back to school. 

        We won't have time for each other. 

        These thoughts ran through my head repeatedly and they wouldn't go away. We got out of the car and Riker helped, along with Ryland, carry my bags up to my new dorm while I got my schedule and classes. I went up to the dorm once I had everything and I went into the room and saw two beds and a window. It looked pretty nice. My roommate was named... "Jenny." I hope she's nice. I showed Rydel her name and her eyes went wide,

        "HEY! I KNOW HER!" she said smiling. "I went to camp with her.. You'll like her. She's pretty nice," she said and I nodded, "That's good to know."

        Ross kissed my cheek and I looked up, "What was that for?" He shrugged, "I felt like it," He said with his cheeky smile that made me smile. God, this is so hard. I want to be with him but... with everything that is happening, I don't know how I can maintain a healthy relationship with him. I give in, I have to talk to him.

        "Ross, can I talk to you?" I asked and he nodded, "Sure."

        "Alone..." I said mentioning toward Rydel and them.

        His eyes went wide and nodded, "Oh... guys..." he said and Rydel, Riker and Ryland stepped out shutting the door behind them. This is going to be interesting.
