Chapter 34 "Home & Things are looking up"

\Rydel's POV/

        My baby brother was finally home from the hospital and I think I can finally go on my date with Ratliff. Ross looked happier which was good. He finally ate his lunch which was a sandwhich and chips. I was watching the boys playing football in our front yard and they were being goofy. "Ross!" Riker yelled and Ross threw the ball to him and Riker ran it down to the field goal. "YESS!" Ross shouted and started doing a victory dance. He might be eighteen years old but sometimes he acts like he's five.

        "Ellington!" I shouted to him as he was wiping sweat off his forehead. "Wanna go up on that date?" I asked and he nodded, "Of course babe.." he said and kissed my cheek. I smiled and texted Selena,

        "Hey, how's school?" I asked.

        "Oh I'm getting better. I got a B on my history project."

        " YAAS THAT'S THE SMART GIRL I KNOW"

        "YAAAS LOL"

        We texted back and forth having giggles. Ross jumped up and got on Rocky's back for a piggyback ride and demanded him, "Over yonder, Rock!" he shouted pointing forward and Rocky raced down the street. I laughed hard at my brothers and Ratliff. I don't know what I'd do without them. I'm so glad they are home and Ross is getting better and Selena is doing better in school and I'm sure we will all be back together some day.

         I saw the time and Ellington and I are planning on going on a date to the movies at like seven so, I better get ready.

        I ran into my room and grabbed some shoes and picked out some nice pair of jeans and shirt with leather jacket. My family and leather jackets is weird. Maybe we like that punk rock style. I finished putting an outfit together and texted it to Selena for a check up.

        " THAT LOOKS GORGEOUS! ELLI WILL LOVE YOU!"

        " THANKS :D "

        Hours later, Ratliff came up to me and saw me dressed and ready to go. "You look amazing, Rydel." I blushed, "Thanks. Let's go!" I said as we hooked arm in arm. We went down to the movies and got to watch Mockingjay from the Hunger Games.

        \Ross's POV/

        I feel so much better. I saw Rydel go out with Ellington on a date and I warned him all the things that shouldn't happen. Brother deals. I chilled in my room a little with Ryland and we played video games. It was fun. I feel like things can only get better from here. Every day that goes by, a day closer I am to seeing Selena again and maybe we could get back together.

        "You seem happy today, bro," Ryland said and I nodded,

        "I am. I mean, I got to see Selena one last time and I think... things can only get better from here," I said and smiled. "That's good!" He said and smirked, "We don't need anymore depression shit."

        I rolled my eyes and sighed, "Alright." Ryland and I heard a door slam two hours later and rushed to the living room and found Rydel walking in giggly. "Hey Rydel," I said and she smiled, "Hey Ross."

        "How was your date?"

        "It was great. I seriously think Ratliff is like the best guy ever... besides you guys of course!" She said hugging us. Ryland and I looked at each other weirdly like What the freaking god is up with our sister?

        She went to her room and Ryland smirked, "What the hell was that?" I smirked as well, "I have no clue. Race you to our room!" I said running away and he followed me in.

        \Selena's POV/

        My grades are finally getting better. I got to see Ross and it made me feel a lot better. Rydel and Ratliff are going on a date which is interesting and makes me laugh. It's so cute. I swear, I think my life can only get better from here.

        Hey guys, I think the next chapter will be the last chapter for this book until the sequel. The sequel will be coming out soon and it will be more interesting and with more real life issues. It will be a majoy upgrade from this book. The next chapter will be like a epilogue but, there will be more in the sequel. It will also be longer. This book has like 35 chapters and the next book should have more like up to more than 50 chapters. Thank you guys for reading!
